This episode we are joined by "The Roger Penske of Soapbox Derby Racing" Mr. Jerry Pearson. I was pleasantly surprised to find out they do in fact still have soapbox derby races at that track, and many others across the country! Jerry is a 40+ year veteran of the sport and is apart of an organization called Indy Derby Racers where they teach derby racing to the inner-city kids of Indianapolis AND take them to participate in races across the country. Jerry is a wonderful guy who's very passionate about derby racing and he has some incredible stories to tell!
