I grew up on rock and roll. More to the point, on The Rolling Stones. Sympathy For The Devil played on my dad's gigantic hifi that was the size of a bookcase and we kids sang and danced along in ignorant bliss.
Can you imagine?
With that being said, that song and others like Led Zeppelin's, Stairway To Heaven, have helped to transform the societal landscape from one of piousness to one of debauchery.
On yesterday's show I used an intro from Gun's and Roses called, Reckless Life. It starts out with a driving beat leading up to a crescendo that screams, "I'm Reckless!" For my whole life I have used a phrase "with reckless abandonment..." For example: I worked with a sense of reckless abandonment to get the job done. For some reason I had linked it to the verse Hebrews 12:1 and always thought about running my race with reckless abandonment...
"Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, 2Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God."
This morning, God led me to look up the word "reckless" in the Bible...WHOA...that's the last thing that I want to be.

Where are you at in your walk with the Lord? Are you putting off getting your heart right with Him until you sort out some things in your life? Do you feel like a hypocrite because you have asked Him for forgiveness a million times over the same sin, and so now you are neglecting spending time with Him because you have a sinful habit that has taken root in your life...
Am I right?
Sin is difficult for Christians to avoid and even more difficult to get out of once you are caught in the snare...

Ted Cruz is right, the world is on fire. From ISIS to CERN to UFO's to Ebola to persecution to moral decay...the list goes on and on and on and on.
Now that I am back in the saddle again, we are going to discuss all the stuff that has transpired in the last few months what we can expect in the next few coming months and where we need to be focused as Christians.
This summer is going to a summer of discontent.

GET BUSY LIVING FOR JESUS!
Mark 11:15 "And they come to Jerusalem: and Jesus went into the temple, and began to cast out them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves; 16And would not suffer that any man should carry any vessel through the temple. 17And he taught, saying unto them, Is it not written, My house shall be called of all nations the house of prayer? but ye have made it a den of thieves. 18And the scribes and chief priests heard it, and sought how they might destroy him: for they feared him, because all the people was astonished at his doctrine."
Have you ever considered this verse from a personal perspective? You know, the whole, "we are the temple of God" thing that the apostle Paul and Jesus Himself talked about.
Maybe it is time to consider the above passage a little differently.
Ask yourself some simple questions:
What is the condition of your heart? Are you a sayer of prayer? Or a prayer of prayer?
Did you even know that there was a difference?
Are your thoughts primarily filled with the things of God, the cry of His heart, His passion for saving lost souls? Or are you thinking about your temporary, earthly kingdom and all your material possessions?
Do you think more about the race that God has set before you and untangling yourself from the sin that beguiles you? Or are you too busy with the things of this world?
Do you think of God or do you drink of God?
Jesus wasn't kidding around when He went wild in the Temple flipping tables and whipping people.
He wants to do the same thing to you and me. He needs to do the same thing to you and me...so that we can get our Temples cleaned out and rededicated for their original purpose: Praising God!
The last question that you need to ask yourself is:
Will you let Him?
One thing is for certain, the time is short. Whether we are alive to see Jesus return in our lifetimes or not, the time is short.
"No one here gets out alive." is a statement often attributed to the singer Jim Morrison of the rock band, 'The Doors'. He didn't get out alive and neither will you...none of us will, unless we have been made alive in Jesus Christ.
The Bible tells us that if we draw near to God then He will draw near to us in James 4:8,
"Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. 8Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded. 9Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness. 10Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up."
Your eternal destiny is not something to play games with. Whether we are on the verge of WW3 or not, whether the 'rapture' happens pre-trib, mid-trib or post-trib, the fact remains that the time is short. You only have so many heartbeats left.
The clock is ticking...
Draw near to Him while there is still time.
Did you know that there was no middle ground and no fence to straddle?
Did you know that friendship with the world is enmity with God?
There is a war raging all around you and you are either on the side of Light or the side of darkness. As much as some would prefer to believe, there is no such thing as a bystander.
Jesus wasn't mincing His words in Matthew 12:30 when He said, "He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad."
What side are you on?

Psalm 51 is an amazing Word! It tells us exactly what to do to get ourselves in a position to be of maximum service to God.
"Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions.
Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin. For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me.
Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest.
Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.
Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom.
Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.
Make me to hear joy and gladness..."

Merrriem Webster's defines a conflagration as a large disastrous fire...Google says a conflagration is "an extensive fire that destroys a great deal of land or property."
Is everybody ready for the Lord's Conflagration?
With Russia sending tanks rolling into Ukraine, ebola coming to our land and this current administrations hatred for Israel...I expect this fire to break out very soon.
Matthew 3:11 states: "I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire: 12Whose fan is in his hand, and he will throughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire."
A conflagration of unquenchable fire is coming our way.
It's time to get under the cover of the Lord and His Son, Jesus!

When you wake up in the morning and open your eyes, are you thinking "Here I am, Lord, use me!"
That's what the Lord of Heaven and Earth is looking for, people who are available and desire to serve the King of Kings.
He doesn't even require a degree or any previous experience, and the job is so easy that anyone can do it.
He just needs people who are willing to spread His Word to all the people that you come in contact with throughout your day.
It's one of those "Word of Mouth" deals.
The job is so easy that it only takes 30 seconds and only involves two sentences.
"The Bible says, 'For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, Jesus, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.' I pray God blesses you and that you repent of your sins and accept His free gift of eternal salvation."
That's it. There's the job. You could even put it on a business card and simply hand it to people without saying a word.
It's time that Christians started spreading the Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
The world may be falling apart all around us, but let's resolve to publish our lives with the voice of thanksgiving.
Is your voice being heard? Are you spreading the news? The Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ?
Are you?
Do the people in your life even know that you believe in Jesus? If so. how many of them? Just a few? Maybe just the people you go to church with?
Everyone that you ever have the occasion to utter one syllable to should know about your faith in Jesus and your relationship with Him.
You may be feeling a bit squeamish or even embarrassed at the thought of sharing your faith with your boss, the mailman, the cashier, the policeman...whoever. You may even say that it is inappropriate to share the Gospel while at work, gym, grocery store, etc. etc. etc.
They are merely excuses for you and every other Christian to stay silent while the world perishes.
Shame on all of us. There are people dying without Jesus by the hundreds of thousands by the day.
We are without excuse. Myself at the top of the list.

How should we be praying? Often times we only pray in times of trouble, but that is only scratching the surface of what prayer life should be like.
Jesus told us how to pray in Matthew 6:9,
"Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever.
Why not make all your words prayers?
Psalm 19:12
"Cleanse us from secret faults.13Keep back thy servants also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over us: then shall we be upright, and we shall be innocent from the great transgression. 14Let the words of our mouths, and the meditation of our hearts, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, our strength, and our redeemer."
Psalm 139:23
"Search us, O God, and know our heart: try us, and know our thoughts: 24And see if there be any wicked ways in us, and lead us in the way everlasting."

Be honest with yourself, are you a formidable foe in the spiritual realm? Or have you left the fighting to other, more qualified Christians?
If you have decided that this isn't your fight, you are sorely mistaken.
3For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: 4(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) 5Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; 6And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.
This fight centers primarily in the mind...in people's thought life and imaginations.

Going along to get along...isn't cutting it anymore...It never did.
Fellowshipping with the sinful ways of this world hasn't quite worked out for those of us Christians who chose the Prodigal Son/Daughter route, running from the calling of the Lord and seeking refuge from His all-powerful gaze by taking passage inside the dark belly of the whale, drowning ourselves in it's disgusting imbibements.
Have you noticed that as you've gotten older?
That the sin that you have participated in, made excuses for, and have incorporated into your everyday lifestyle has just become so unfulfilling?
There is an easy cure-all remedy for that...
Get on the repentance train.
It's easier and way more fun than it sounds...believe me.
The powers of this world have programmed us since birth...it has indoctrinated each and every one us going all the way back since the time of the creation and fall of humanity..."to do as thou wilt".
They have convinced us that morality is a bad thing.
Our way has led us to the precipice of total destruction...
It is only a matter of timing now...
Are you prepared for what is coming on the earth?

Is that the prayer of your heart? If it isn't...it should be. Christians should be praying this 10 times a day.
Imagine what the world would be like if Christians actually prayed this prayer AND meant it...
Imagine what God can do in your life if you will simply just let Him.
Stop running away from God and start running the race that has been set before you. The person that you don't share your faith with may never get another chance to get saved by Jesus.

The time to repent is now...today...this very minute.
The time for being 'lukewarm' has long since passed. The Lord is looking for people who are saying, "Here I am." like Samuel did.
There are lots of job openings in the business of the Lord and He is looking for some faithful, honest, hardworking people.

Those who are save by the blood of Jesus don't hear my words and associate them with doom and gloom. On the contrary, my words speak of an eternal hope...
A hope for the salvation of all mankind.
Jesus was specific when he said in Luke 21:25,
"And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh."
He told us what signs to look for...and they are all here...NOW

There is a saying that I heard when I was little that went, 'The greatest trick that the devil ever played was getting the world to believe that he didn't exist.'
Those are true words. The world doesn't think the devil exists anymore...besides those who rule this world that is...
The rulers of this world sure do believe in the devil...and you should too.
He is here amongst us roaring around seeking to devour those he may.
Do you have the protection of the Lord and His angels surrounding you? You better...especially in the coming days.

The world has been unified again in one language...You may say, "Not so!!!" but you would be wrong...
YES, there still are plenty of languages that are spoken in the earth...
But there is one that unites us all...it is the language of technology...AND communication.
No longer is there confusion between two people who don't speak each other's native tongues...
NOW THERE IS GOOGLE...interpreting languages faster than any human mind...
The world has rebuilt the Tower of Bable...

From the guy at the corner store to your boss at work, there will be no excuses on Judgement Day for you and your unwillingness to share the Truth with every soul...

We have all been way behind and it is time that we start sprinting towards the finish line...there are people who are dying and it is our job to pray for them and warn them...

It is evident that the Christian peoples of the world have fallen asleep...you can tell because the trees only have rotten fruit on them...and you know what the Bible says about telling what kind of trees they are by the fruit that it bares...
The world is void of any kind of fruit from the tree of life...
It is our job to pick that fruit...get the seeds and start planting...

That is because they all come from the curse that God put on the serpent in the garden...

The Lord is calling you to get serious about His Word, AND yours...the ones that you use everyday...
I admonish you to reread the Word of God and see if it hasn't taken on new meaning in light of current world events & scientific discoveries...
The Bible doesn't exactly say what "The Church" has led you to believe...They have conveniently left out explaining important, key parts...that unlock the mysteries contained therein...
Whether through ignorance or malice, only God will judge...
But that doesn't leave God's faithful, the believers in Jesus Christ with ignorance as a viable excuse...
It's all in the Bible...

That's the issue & it works both ways...
You can't be only a little bit corrupted...You're either corrupted or you're not corrupted...
Which one are you? And if you are the former...how does one become uncorrupted...

Today, many people are Christians in name only...they are mislead...deceived into thinking that they are in a safe spot with the Lord of Heaven and Earth...
So safe, that they need only take a few minutes with Him while they take a crap...

And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit; Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord; Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ; Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God.
We are told specifically to redeem the time because the days are evil...
We will talk about the importance of developing a daily routine, starting with the firstfruits of your day, and the blessings that come with walking in the Lord...

The whole world has been designed and managed to be a distraction to God's people...
Every single thing that doesn't point to Jesus is nothing more than a ruse...
TV, music, internet, drugs, alcohol, sports...all of it...designed with one thing in mind...DISTRACTION.
Do not be deceived, God will NOT be mocked...
Get your priorities straight and redeem the time for the days are evil.

The people of God are having supernatural experiences...

If not...why not? Do you often ask yourself that question? Are you feeling a little bit, "LEFT BEHIND"? Do you look at your Christian role models and wonder what they have that you don't?
Most of them that are out there don't have much of anything except a forked tongue. The Church is being led astray merely by virtue of unqualified people preaching half-truth messages and trying to shepherd a flock that doesn't understand the Truth and faith that they proclaim.
Tomorrow you get more Truth...Tomorrow you get more Jesus...
We live in terrifying times...times that can make a person cower in fear and paralyze them into submission.
God wants you to be anxious for nothing...NO THING...
Don't worry about any of it...not money, not sickness, not death....NONE OF IT...that's what God wants.
He wants you to take shelter in the shadow of His wings and chill out...
He wants you to be still and know that He is God...that He is in control...of EVERYTHING.
He wants you freed up from the sin that so easily entangles...to run the race marked out for you...with perseverance...
I will be talking about super chillin' with the Lord and a bunch of other stuff...

It's a thought that most people don't want running around in their head. They don't even want to think about dying...at all. It's too scary for them. They shudder at the thought.
But I tell you, Brothers and Sisters, you better start thinking about it and stop with all the petty things you spend your time distracting yourself with...It's the question that might just right your ship and get you going in the right direction...towards our Father in Heaven.
What will you say when you stand before God on that fateful day? Have you even bothered to read the Bible?
I spent the majority of my life being a lukewarm Christian...I had a superficial relationship with the Lord and only gave Him lip service...
Now that hell is being unleashed upon the earth, I am going to give you details as to why the only thing left for us as Christians to do is to get the Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ out to those with ears to hear.
My first broadcast was literally hijacked by the prince of the air...
I was told to pray at the outset of each broadcast, and in my nervousness...I forgot. And when I was reminded a few minutes into the broadcast, I didn't obey...and the broadcast was immediately hijacked and cut in and out through the rest of it.
So, I'm going to go again with a new message about the power of prayer and the necessity to heed the call to actually do it.
