Today we rise, today we conquer. We rise beyond the fears that hold us down. We rise in truth and we rise in strength. Today we rise, today we conquer. Today we rise, today we conquer. We are the architects of our own lives. We are the builders too. Today we rise, today we conquer. Today we rise today we conquer. To rollaway burdens and make our neighbours' lips to smile. To be the image of the father of love and light. Today we rise, today we conquer.
It is impossible to be aggressive when you’re confused. I admire snipers a lot for this. Its one well concealed location at a time. It’s one target at a time. It’s one weapon at a time. Snipers are the ones that are assigned to take out high value targets. Their mission requires utmost precision and their minds must be calm to accomplish flawlessly. The fiercest archers are calm. You cannot aim in frenzy. One shot: One kill. That can be achieved only with a level of simplicity. Our world today bombards us with so much more than we can handle. It is important if we will achieve or own goals that we simplify. Do not clutter your mind with information that is irrelevant to the mission of your life. De-clutter. Trash the trash. Give your mind a breathing space.
That book you’re not reading anymore, donate it to a library. That cloth you’re no more going to wear, give it away. That appliance you no longer need, sell it.
The whole point is to surround yourself only with the tools that give your life a forward progression. Whenever we choose to live simpler lives, we choose to live more efficiently. We should be able to overflow with the abundance of the essence of our lives to the world around us: the less the clutter, the freer the flow.
If only we can understand That love holds the power that prevails Over the grimness of hate That sorrow ends in the face of compassion That wisdom in not comparing, in not competing If only we can understand
If only we can understand That when a man resents his neighbor He stains his own heart, and robs himself of peace He hurts himself and does not help another If only we can understand
If only we can understand The pain that mindless words inflict Our tongues will forge the instruments of peace alone Our mouths will pour forth only sweetness and health If only we can understand
If only we can understand That by ill-will and hatred, evil increases And to wrong a wrong rights nothings Then we will retract when we seek revenge And rather walk the path of forgiveness If only we can understand
If only we can understand That by good, every evil ceases Then every man, woman and child Will cleanse their hearts Will dwell in pure meditations and walk in noble actions
If only we can understand That we all may always fall into the arms of love Then we will always stretch out nothing but the same If only we can understand.
