Paul imitated Christ in meekness and gentleness while dealing with issues in the Corinthian church. False teachers made accusations against him. Paul showed how important the body of Christ is and that "tumors" in the body must be removed.

The world has earthly goals for success, riches, possessions, beauty, love, and popularity. The Bible urges us to have the right goals, the right aim for life: to make it our aim, whether present or absent, to be well pleasing to the Lord.
