Today celebrate the risen King, our Lord Jesus Christ, who has risen from the dead. Let's hear from Ps Andrew Tan, as he expounds on Jesus being the light of the world in John 8:12.
Taking reference from Luke 4:18-19, we find Jesus stating that he has come to set the oppressed free. He is staking his claim over us. God has sent his Son to set free his people from harsh rule and authority. We are no longer subject to the rule of the world, but rather the rule of His love. We are free of oppression. Come and be refreshed by the word this weekend!
This is Oppression- He fought it.
This is Freedom- He bought it.
This is Jesus- He taught it.
Spiritual blindness is an inability to see the things of the Spirit. Through this sermon, we are reminded how we can be spiritually blind and how to guard against our own spiritual blindness.
Seeing involves active obedience.
Seeing involves a posture of humility.
Seeing requires a relationship with Jesus as Lord.
Taken from the book of Luke 19:1-10, Elder David Foo shares the case study of how Jesus delivers a captive and who is this Jesus who delivers the captive. Jesus has power to set anyone free from any sin, let's call on Him and be saved!
He knows all about you and loves you deeply.
He takes the initiative to come to you, and responds to the smallest effort to reach Him, even if it is only in your heart.
He saves you, even at His own expense.
He has power to set anyone free from any sin.
To kickstart a brand new sermon series - 'This Is Jesus', we have Brother Gary Koh sharing God's word on 'This is Jesus Who Heals the Brokenhearted'.
In the second part of The End-Times Church, Senior Pastor Daniel Foo focuses on BBTC's strategy as an Intentional Disciple-Making Church. He emphasises on the 7 Pillars-Anointeds as desired outcomes of our purpose and mission. BBTC - Building and Becoming a Vibrant End-Time Church
Purpose-driven instead of Personality driven.
Increasing Bench Strength.
The 7 Pillars-Anointeds as Desired Outcomes of our Purpose-Mission.

The End-Times Church is a 2-part series by Senior Pastor Daniel Foo. In part one, we learn that the Laodicean Church reflects the End-Time Church today and the Four Counsels of the Lord to this church. 4 Counsels:
Buy from God gold refined in the fire that they may be rich.
Buy from God white garments that they may be covered.
Buy from God eye salve that they may be see.
Hear and respond to the Lord’s knocking on the door of our lives.

Elder Goh Hock Chye draws lessons from ACTS 8:26-40, where we learn about relational evangelism and how we can be practical to share and engage people with the Gospel.
GO (to build bridges)
ENGAGE (to understand)
SHARE (from the heart)
Continuing the sermon series on the lifestyle of evangelism, DSP Edric Sng encourages us from Acts 4, where we see the faith the disciples had, which resulted in thousands being saved.
Bold Faith - The conviction of the spirit
Personal Faith - The consequence of salvation
Spirit-filled Faith - Confirmed with signs and wonders
This weekend, Elder Lok Vi Ming encourages us from Acts 3:6 -that as Christians, we need to stay relevant in an unbelieving world.
The Eyes/Vision of the Disciple
The Power of the Disciple
Silver & Gold I do not have
This February, we begin a brand new sermon series- A Lifestyle of Evangelism, where Ps Kok Guan shares about what a growing church looks like and how we can be become one.
A GROWING CHURCH
Grows through spiritual multiplication
Grows in a spiritual community
Grows towards spiritual transformation
Senior Pastor Daniel Foo exhorts us to draw nearer to God, hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, and consider one another in order to stir up love and good works.
The New and Living Way
The Lord Jesus is the New and Living Way
3 Exhortations because Jesus is our New and Living Way
Sermon Handout: https://bit.ly/newlivingwaynotes
DSP Chua Seng Lee shares the hope we have in Jesus. Jesus Christ came to bring hope. He is our hope, and this hope is alive. Is the hope of Jesus real and alive in you? Is His Spirit alive and at work in you?
Holds us effectively: anchor of the soul
Holds us eternally: sure and steadfast
Holds us experientially: enters within the veil
DSP Edric Sng motivates us to love one another with a love in action.
What would it take for the world to look at us – Christians and the Church – and have their first thought be: If that’s what the love of God looks like, count me in!
Ps Kok Guan emphasises the importance of giving all the keys in our lives to Jesus and renewing our hearts this brand new year for a new season. Key pointers:
A Cleansed Heart
A Committed Heart
A Contrite Heart
We begin a brand new sermon series called 'New Season', where Senior Pastor Daniel Foo exhorts us to walk wisely and worship whole-heartedly as we live in the end-times.
A blessed Christmas to everyone! DSP Chua Seng Lee ends the sermon series by reminding us that God is the source of peace and He can and wants to give us this peace.
Why we can have PEACE for all time?
God CAN give us peace for all time.
God WANTS to give us peace for all time.
Christmas has arrived, and from the entire team at BBTC, we wish you a very merry Christmas. This morning, Ps Low Kok Guan reminds us of the peace that we have in our Lord Jesus Christ. Is there someone whom you can share the message of peace with?
The Message of Peace For All:
Praise God for His glory
Ponder God’s truth in our hearts
Present God’s message to the lost
As we continue on the sermon series of Peace this weekend, Ps Jeffrey speaks about how we can be at peace with one another. How can we be at Peace with One Another?
Relate as One Body
Receive the Peace of Christ
Recognise the Goodness in others
We begin a brand new sermon series in the month of December. Ps Darren Kuek shared the 5 ways we can be robbed of peace- Dishonoring Our Parents (Deu 5:16), Disobeying Authority (Rom 13:2-4), Love of Money (1 Tim 6:10), Fearing Man (Prov 29:25) and Not Dealing with Guilt (Gen 3:8-10). How do we find peace in stressful times?
Obey His Word
Trust His Leading
Experience His presence
Ps Seng Lee encourages the church to unite in one spirit as it is God's call. We are to desire earnestly the spiritual gifts (1 Cor 14:1), discern every spirit (1 John4:1) and submit to leadership (Heb 13:17). Why do we need unity?
God’s call our duty
God’s concern our desire
God’s completion our declaration
As we commemorate our church 35th anniversary, we are reminded of God's goodness over BBTC and how we should always try to continually improve our walk with God. CHRIST WILL BUILD HIS CHURCH
Relearn when the LORD reveals
Resist when the devil deceives
Resolve when the self persists
As we continue to celebrate BBTC 35th Anniversary, we give thanks for the life in our church, which represents the life of our Lord Jesus Christ. Let's learn to continually love and guard this church, so that we can present this glorious church, without spot and blemish, to God everyday of our lives! __ OUTLINE Ephesians 5:24-27
Christ loved the Church (v25)
He gave Himself up for her (v25)
That He might sanctify the Church (v26)
To be the Glorious Church without spot or wrinkle (v27)
A warm welcome to all who are joining us this weekend as we mark BBTC 35th anniversary! As we reflect back on what the Lord has done to BBTC, we cannot fail to recognize many milestones that have been made in our church. Today is a great opportunity to share the love of God together and celebrate the goodness of our Lord Jesus Christ!
THE GLORIOUS CHURCH (Ephesians 5:26-27)
RELATIONSHIPS - We belong to the Family of God (John 13:34-35).
REALITY - We are the Church of the Living God.
RELEVANT - We represent the Truth (John 8:32).
REPRESENTATIVES - We manifest God in the world (Mystery of Godliness).
Life is a journey. We are all travelling inevitably towards the end of our lives. We will either coast through life with no sense of direction or live life with purpose and fulfilment. This weekend, DSP Chua Seng Lee speaks about how we can find and develop our purpose in life that will glorify our Father in heaven.
What is the purpose of life?
How to develop the purpose?
Why do we need the purpose?
The Goodness of God - We sing about it and we say it often. But do we fully understand this attribute of God? The Bible defines God's goodness in two ways. One has to do with His character; the other focuses on His actions. Let's meditate on the goodness of God and recognise that God is the original definition of good. He is good in and of Himself.
Character: God’s goodness - What it mean? Can we define it?
Actions: How good is God?- What God does.
When bad things happen, in the face of pain and suffering, how can we still see God’s goodness in our lives?
The goodness of God through our Lord Jesus
DSP Edric Sng warns us about false teachers and the actions we should take to guard ourselves. We will learn about discerning the Spirit of Truth from the spirit of falsehood.

Abrahamic Family: Abraham our Father? (John 8, Galatians 3) Honour your Abrahamic Family
REFLECTIONS:
Do we love God more than all that he has blessed us with?
Do we take heaven and hell seriously?
Do we act like Father Abraham, or the father of lies?
Continuing the sermon series of 'What to pursue in life?', speaker DSP Chua Seng Lee encourages us to Pursue Holiness. The Bible tells us about a holiness that is real, supreme, all-satisfying and glorious. Let's be a people of holiness. A people that will glorify the Lord Jesus Christ!
Be set apart from the world
Be set apart for God
Continuing the sermon series of 'What to pursue in life?', speaker Gary Koh encourages us to pursue PEACE. There’s only one way to have true peace, and that’s when you have a relationship with the Lord.
Continuing in the sermon series of 'What to Pursue in Life', Ps Low Kok Guan exhorts us to pursue righteousness.
Take only what is given.
Say only what is true.
Do only what is right.
We don't just want to give them a superficial band aid.
We want to lift them up and restore them to the fullness of life.
We don't just want to give them the fish, but the ability to fish.
We want to empower them so they can fulfil their dreams.
We don't just want them to survive in life.
We want them to thrive.

Senior Pastor Daniel Foo begins Part 1 on
God's Dealings with Israel suspended
The Church = Jews & Gentiles- One New Man in Christ
Ps Andrew Tan ends the sermon series from the book of Peter. Taking from 2 Peter 3:1-16, we are reminded about
God's promised Word (Has God's Word transformed you?)
God's promised patience (How are we living our lives during this period of waiting? Is there someone who needs to hear the good news?)
God's promised Future (Are we living a holy and godly life? How are we making effort to be spotless, blameless and at peace with Him?)
Ps Jeffrey Aw continues the sermon series from the book of Peter. Taking from 2 Peter 2:1-22, Ps Jeff exhorts us to remain in the Truth, to be familiar and be diligent in knowing His Word.
Know the Truth of God
Know the Judgement of God
We continue unpacking the lessons found in 2 Peter with Ps Kok Guan. We are reminded to continually grow into Christ-likeness and to yearn to experience the reality of God. 2 Peter 1:12-21

The Gift of Our Faith (v1-4)
The Effort of Our Faith (v5-7)
The Confirmation of Our Faith (v8-11)
We continue to unpack the different warnings found in the book of Hebrews. This week DSP Chua Seng Lee shares what it means to refuse the Lord.
Severity of the consequence - Live by Grace not by Law Application: Strengthen our altar of Praise , Thanksgiving and Worship
Security in His Kingdom - Live with gratefulness not with Greed Application: Sow to the Kingdom by faith with reverence
We continue to unpack the different warnings found in the book of Hebrews. Let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.
Keep up the Good Work(s)
Keep Meeting
Keep on Keeping On
We continue to unpack the different warnings found in the book of Hebrews. Taken from Hebrews 6:1-6, we discover the reality of falling away and how can we not fall away.
Aim for maturity: Be hungry for Growth.
Avoid compromise: Be holy for God.
Abide in Him: Be humble in God.
As we continue with the study of Hebrews, we learn about the danger of hardening of our hearts.
What does it mean to harden our hearts against God?
To lose faith and not give the benefit of the doubt to God at the first signs of uncertainty, even when -God has been gracious and faithful throughout.
What are the consequences of a hardened heart?
It displeases God
We miss out on good things that God has in store for us
It leads to sin and rebellion against God
How can we cultivate a believing heart for God?
Know the condition of our hearts as revealed through God’s Word
Be part of a Christian community - Encourage one another daily
We have Deputy Senior Pastor Chua Seng Lee share with us on Hebrews 2:1.
Why do we need to pay much closer attention:
Superior Messenger: Ultimate revelation
Severe Consequence: When we don’t.
Sanctifying Experience: When we do.
Taking from the book of Ephesians 4:2, Gary Koh reminds us to be kind and compassionate to one another and always forgiving.
Summary Points:
We are ONE family
We serve OTHERS with our GIFTS
We get along with ONE ANOTHER
Elder Hock Chye shares with us the 4 aspects of walking by Faith:
Trust in God's greater purpose
Wait on God's better timing
Hope in God's higher way
Move your stone
How should we face our trials? DSP Edric Sng encourages us how not to lose heart, press on, and fix our eyes on our Lord Jesus Christ.
WALK with Jesus
WITNESS for Jesus
WATCH OUT for Jesus
Jesus Christ defeated sin and death. He has risen. His resurrection represents rebirth, salvation, and renewal of faith. This is the day of victory. He can be your Saviour today. Because He lives, you can face tomorrow. Would you come and place your trust in Jesus Christ, who paid for your sins on the cross?
Good Friday is a crucial day of the year because it celebrates what we believe to be the most pivotal day in the history of the world. Jesus willingly suffered and died by crucifixion as the ultimate sacrifice for our sins. Jesus went through so much for each of us to become heirs of heaven. He became the bridge when there was no bridge. Join us, as we commemorate this special day!
Speaking from the chapter of Luke 9:18-23, speaker Mark Tan encourages us seek first the Kingdom of God, take up our cross daily and be born again as we follow Christ in this post-millennial world.
What you SEEK- From self-indulgence to self-denial
What you FEAR- From self-preservation to self-surrender
What you SERVE- From Self-service to Self-sacrifice
Ps Low Kok Guan expounds from Luke 9:57-62 on what it means to follow Jesus. Let's consider the priorities that we need to set or reset. Summary points:
Price to pay
Priority to set
Posture to take
Privilege to serve
Welcome to BBTC English Worship Service! Today, we have DSP Chua Seng Lee encouraging us to make our influence positive in difficult times.
Learning points:
Have a high view of Godly teachers
Have a high view of God's word
Have a high view of God's call

Application/Bottom Line:
Be watchful and wise
Rooted to the Word and connected to the Holy Spirit
Be fully plugged in the Body-life
Time Of The End Series, TOTE 7 We dive deep into understanding what happens during tribulation, using the passage Matthew 24:1-31. We will study the 3 questions the disciples asked the Lord:
When will these things be?
What will be the sign of Your coming?
(What will be) the end of the age?
As we draw nearer to the end times, it is imperative for us to continue learning and gleaning insights so that we will be blessed, can effectively evangelise and finish well when we meet the Lord. The message this week focused on defining the key characteristics of the Day of the LORD and how it differs from the Day of Christ.
How are we coping with the many changes that is taking place in our world in the span of just one year? Ps Kok Guan draws valuable principles from 2 Corinthians 1:16-24 to guide us as we navigate the changing plans in our ever-changing world, all the more the end times draws near.
2 Corinthians is likely to be the fourth letter that was written to the church Paul founded. It is a personal letter that can be divided into three parts.
The time of the end is imminent. Jesus revealed that prior to His Second Coming, false prophets and false teachings will rise, lawlessness will abound, and the love of many will grow cold. But he who endures to the end shall be saved. (Matthew 24:11-13).
The spiritual condition of our society today is exactly what Jesus has described in the last days. The prevalence of falsehoods has certainly heightened lawlessness today!
Drawing insights from 1 Timothy 4:1-16, DSP Edric highlighted two questions for our own self-reflection, to help us watch our life and doctrine closely, so that we can guard ourselves against falsehoods. The two questions are:
Who counsels you – the world or the Word?
What consumes you?
SP taught about the prophecy of Daniel’s 70th week, which can be gleaned from Daniel 9:24-26. The “70 weeks” in Daniel 9:24a refers to 70 weeks of years, with each day representing a year, so each week represents 7 years. These 70 weeks can be divided into three parts:
– First 7 weeks of years (7 x 7 = 49 years), where Jerusalem was rebuilt and restored (Daniel 9:25, Ezra 1:1-2, Ezra 6:14).
– Next 62 weeks (434 years), marked by three events – crucifixion of Jesus Christ, destruction of Jerusalem and the temple, and an age marked with war and desolation (Daniel 9:26a).
– A suspension of judgement until the last week (7 years), which has yet to be fulfilled because Israel rejected the Messiah.
This sermon, the fourth in an 8-part series on the end times, focuses on the rapture of the Church. Its purpose is to remind us to continually pray and reach out to our pre-believing loved ones, and to appreciate the Cross and mercy of God.
In reference to the end-times, Elder Lok taught on Romans 1:18-32 where he elaborated on the increasing lawlessness which we will witness in the world, the wrath of God in response to lawlessness, and the consequence of persistent lawlessness.
This is the third of an 8-part series on the end times. This message focuses on the differences between the Nation of Israel and the Church. We must recognise the signs that Jesus is coming back very soon. While we anticipate His return, we must be prepared and watchful.
This is the second of an 8-part series on the end times. This message focuses on the differences between the Pre-Tribulation Rapture of the Church and the Second Coming, which are two separate events. We, the saints, look forward to and must ready ourselves for the imminent Rapture.
Citing Romans 8:1-4, DSP Chua declared that believers have victory over sin. God sent Jesus Christ to die and fulfill the penalty for our sins. We are therefore no longer condemned for the sins that we have confessed. Despite this truth, some of us still struggle with shame and guilt over past sins, while others feel wretched when their old carnal nature tempts them into sinning again. Without the assurance of victory over sin, believers can miss out on the spiritual transformation that God wants to do in their lives.
ACT I: THERE IS HURT.
Do not be afraid.
For nothing is impossible with God.
ACT II THERE IS HATE.
Why doesn’t God do something about the mess the world is in?
ACT III THERE IS HOPE.
Isaiah 9:6-7
6 For to us a child is born,
to us a son is given;
and the government shall be upon his shoulder,
and his name shall be called
Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
7 Of the increase of his government and of peace
there will be no end,
on the throne of David and over his kingdom,
to establish it and to uphold it
with justice and with righteousness
from this time forth and forevermore.
The zeal of the Lord of hosts will do this.
As we begin part four of the series Hope in Hopeless Times in the month of December, we are reminded of the hope we have because of the gift of Jesus Christ. Expounding on the word from Romans 8:31-39, Pastor Jeffrey expounds how much God loves you and as such, you will live life with hope in God.
As we enter the third part of the series Hope in Hopeless Times in the month of December, we are reminded of the hope we have because of the gift of Jesus Christ. Expounding on the word from 2 Corinthians 12:7-10, Elder Lok exposits how we can continue to have hope in the power of God and not give up even when we are weak.
Gary shares how we can respond when we are going through the trials and sufferings in life.
Application:
Revere Christ as Lord
Recall the promises of God
Respond in the opposite spirit
Remember the ultimate prize
When Jesus spoke, He often drew large crowds which included the likes of tax collectors and sinners. Not only did He accept them, He encouraged them to draw near to learn from His teachings which angered the Pharisees who felt that there was no distinction between themselves and those whom they considered to be unclean and unworthy. Jesus addressed this issue by sharing three parables (parables of the lost sheep/coin/son).
In this sermon, Pastor Darren focused on the parable of the lost son to help us derive hope from the redemptive nature of God’s love for us.
What is Jesus’ model of discipleship? How can we apply Jesus’ model to fulfil the Great Commission of making disciples of all nations? In this week’s sermon, DSP Chua Seng Lee expounds on Jesus’ last words in Matthew 28:18-20 and shares what discipleship involves – from knowing the source of discipleship, to understanding the scope of it, to complying with the commands given in scriptures, and lastly, to know from whom we draw our strength.
This week’s sermon lays out the pathway of a disciple in BBTC. In line with our mission to be a disciple-making church, the programmes are unique to our church and designed to help us identify where we are and our next steps in our discipleship journey. DSP Edric maps this out in four stages – Start Here, Settle Here, Serve Here and Shepherd Here.
We have never been this way before. The global pandemic has brought about changes in our lives, so we have and may currently find ourselves in new places. Teaching from Joshua 3, SP Daniel Foo shared three principles that will help us weather the storms in life.
The world defines us by what we have, what we do, and who we know. It is pressurising to try and measure up to the world’s standards.
But God’s Word tells us that our lives are not defined by what we have, but by what we give. God’s Word tells us what our real treasure should be and what we should hold dear (Luke 12:13-34)
Jesus had just cast out a demon from a man, but was accused by the people of performing the act by the power of the devil. The people tested Jesus by asking Him for a sign from heaven (Luke 11: 14-17). Knowing their evil intentions, Jesus addresses the people by saying that no sign would be given except the sign of Jonah. He then concludes by warning the people to be careful lest the light in them was darkness (Luke 11: 29 – 36).
This sermon prompts all BBTCians to take time to seek God and hear His voice. Ps Hua Ken reminded us that sometimes the problem we face in hearing God lies with us and not God. We need to learn to decipher God’s voice from all the distractions and busyness we face in life. In addition, we need to learn to listen well to one another.
“When will the end of the world come?” This is a question many people desire to know. Jesus’ answer to the question was found in Matthew: “Take heed that no one deceives you (24:4) … of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only (24:36)”. So, instead of trying to determine when Jesus will return, let us place our emphasis on knowing Who is returning.
The COVID-19 pandemic has taught the world a big lesson – uncertainties can strike suddenly and unexpectedly. Nobody expected that 2020 would kick off with a pandemic that brings so many uncertainties - health crisis, job losses, economic hardships, fear, disruption to church, etc. In his sermon on Acts chapter 20, DSP Edric shared about the Apostle Paul’s perspective of uncertainties, and how believers today can exercise faith in uncertain times.
Righteousness is about having right standing with God, right believing and right living. Every disciple is to be a priest and king. SP Daniel Foo concludes the final part of the ‘Priests & Kings’ series driving home the point that being an effective priest and king is all about living righteously. As effective priests and kings, we continually reach out to the lost, resist the devil, rebuke sickness and take authority over our environment.
In this sermon, CS Mark Tan covered on the life of King Josiah, the last good king of Judah, and the lessons we can learn from him. He was the last king in a lineage of kings dating back 400 years from the time the Hebrews asked Samuel to give them a king. By the time King Josiah ascended the throne, Israel had experienced disaster upon disaster under the reign of his predecessors.
God strengthens us:
When we are doing His will. Do right in His sight, don’t quit.
When we humble ourselves before Him. Do right in His sight, don’t run away.
When we look to Jesus, do right in His sight. Don’t blink!
God is always perfect:
Even when His people are not – TREASURE HIM
Even when we are not – SEEK HIM
Even when circumstances are not – TRUST HIM
The gospel of Jesus Christ is meant to be shared. In Colossians 4:3, the apostle Paul invites the church to pray so that the mystery of Christ can be revealed. The word “mystery” is repeated in Colossians 1:27 and 2:2. This mystery refers to the gospel of Jesus Christ. From Colossians 4, Ps Kok Guan distilled for us three main points on how to share this mystery.
This sermon is the third of a four-part sermon series on the Book of Colossians. Having gone through the first two instalments establishing our faith in the sovereignty of Jesus and anchoring our lives in the centrality of Christ, we now discover how we should live our lives in the culture of the kingdom of God, focused on the things above.
The church at Colosse was the smallest among the 10 New Testament churches in Asia Minor; it was a city neither as prosperous nor as important as its neighbour Laodicea. Yet problems were growing in this young church; so serious was the heresy that had crept into the church that Paul had to pen a stirring proclamation of the superiority and supremacy of Christ to the Colossians. He hoped that through his letter, the Colossians would have the “full riches of complete understanding”, in order that they may “know the mystery of God which is Christ“ (Col 2:1-2).
The word “Sovereign” has been in the news lately. But what does the Bible tell us about God’s sovereignty? Let Ps Jeffrey Aw tell you in this sermon.
Like building bridges, BCS brings love to the community through its works and helps the community to cross over to experience God’s love in a personal way. Like kings, we as children of God are entrusted with the ability, influence, power and responsibility to make an impact in other people’s lives. We can demonstrate the same traits as the kings of Judah to obey in deed (King Asa), exemplify the pursuit of God’s heart (King Jehoshaphat) and partner God (King Joash) in bringing about changes in the lives of others.

In the first of a new sermon series on Old Testament kings, Gary Koh shares with us what are some of the faith lessons we can learn from the life of king Asa.
Do you have a heart that pursues after God’s heart?
Leadership lessons from King Jehoshaphat
Equip others with God’s Word
Engage challenges with God’s help
Exemplify pursuit after God’s heart
Following Christ is a lifetime occupation, not just a fad for a season. We must aim to finish well, not just start well. There are many choices to be made – but only wise choices such as loving God whole-heartedly, following His word faithfully, and choosing our company wisely will bring abundant blessings from God. From the story of King Joash in 2 Chronicles 24:1-25, 2 Kings 9:6-8, 24-28, and 2 Kings 11:2-3, we learn valuable lessons and keys to partnering with God.
SP Daniel Foo expounded Part Six of the Sermon Series “Priests and Kings”. Every born-again believer is both a priest and king. The believer performs the functions of a priest and king; The believer is a priest who ministers to God and man. At the same time, the believer is a king representing the authority and power of God on the earth. Therefore as kings, we speak to the mountains in our lives.
In the sermon, SP Daniel Foo elaborated on how to engage in effective spiritual warfare by mapping the boundaries of spiritual authority in prayer. As part of the sermon series of being effective Priests and Kings, we were taught to pray strategic Kingly and Priestly (binding and loosing) prayers over our pre-believing family and friends. It was emphasized that we should never take on demon principality-idols in and of itself. In this sermon, we delve into the boundaries of spiritual authority
In the final instalment of this 4 part series on being a Priest & King, SP Daniel Foo shares how heal, cast out demons and take spiritual authority.
In the third part of his series, SP shared about the two keys that the Lord has given to us in sharing the Gospel with the “lost” (i.e. pre-believers and Christians who have backslidden).
Senior Pastor reminds us that the Lord has called all His disciples to carry out priestly and kingly functions. This truth is found in the gospel according to Mark: “Then He appointed twelve, that they might be with Him and that He might send them out to preach, and to have power to heal sicknesses and to cast out demons …” (Mark 3:14-15). As disciples of Jesus Christ, we are empowered: to be with Him, share the Gospel, have the power to heal and the power to cast out demons. In the sermon on Priests & Kings (Part 2), Senior Pastor shares on what it means for believers to be an effective priest and king.
Senior Pastor began by sharing the scriptural basis for the Priests and Kings sermon series – “Then He appointed twelve, that they might be with Him and that He might send them out to preach, and to have power to heal sicknesses and to cast out demons …” Mark 3:14-15. As disciples of Jesus Christ, we are all called to be with Him, share the Gospel, have power to heal and have power to cast out demons. The focus for today’s sermon is to “be with Him” which is to build an intimate relationship with God.
