We believe every person is created with unique passions and talents, and yet most people don’t live as if that’s true. When people live in the beautiful tension where their passion meets a need in humanity, the friction created by the collision creates a spark. A spark that will grow and illuminate a neighborhood, a community, a country, the world! The world needs people who are fully alive. We promise to tell the stories that deserve an audience and remind you that your passions matter.

A great interview with one of the most thoughtful and intelligent young people we've met. Josh has been active in speech and debate for four years, competing in Congressional Debate, Lincoln-Douglas, Extemporaneous Speaking, and World Schools. He is a three-time qualifier and two-time semifinalist to the CHSAA state tournament in Domestic Extemp. Additionally, he most recently placed third with his World Schools team at the National Speech & Debate Tournament while winning eighth speaker overall. Josh was the co-founder and chair of District 51’s middle school debate district. When not competing, Josh finds himself delving into politics and economics. He has interned with U.S. Senator Mark Udall and the Grand Junction Economic Partnership while also advising the Colorado State Legislature on water policy as part of the Colorado Youth Advisory Council. He currently attends United World College-USA, an international boarding school in Montezuma, New Mexico, where he works to improve access to education through Global Social Impact, a social entrepreneurship organization.

In 2008, after 5 years of teaching fine art to urban city students in Denver, CO., Justin walked away from teaching to follow a dream of being a full time tattoo artist and fine art gallery owner. In addition to Justin's success as a self-taught tattoo artist, in which he creates vivid images of fine art on the skin and traditional tattoo techniques, helps establish Justin as a unique tattoo artist with an intriguing eye and in addition to an art gallery owner, he is also an established painter. His painting style ranges from abstract based landscape imagery to Cityscapes and urban culture.
