El color como uno de las principales características en la arquitectura de Luis Barragan
Hi, my name is Gabriel Vallés, I'm 23 years old, I'm the older of two kids, I'm from Caracas and I live there with my parents and my sister. I love everything related with architecture, the first time I realized I wanted to study architecture was when I was 16 and I went to Madrid and saw the ceiling of the Barajas Airport, it was so beatiful that i felt in love with the idea of materializing concepts that born in your mind and can become real spaces that can inspire people and make them feel good and safe. I like simplicity and clear lines and all the architects I admire follow that line, like Mies Van Der Rohe, Oscar Niemeyer, Alvaro Siza and Alberto Campo Baeza.
Architecture and urban planing are careers that share similar work fields and sometimes the border line between their expertise is blurred and architects and urban planers have to work together to find solutions for improve the quality of life of people. Urban planers work in a much general scale, they are the people responsible for planing the cities and that includes everything from parks and public squares, to developing guidance and policies. On the other hand, architects work in a more particular scale, they are in charge of design buildings for everything, from hospitals to school and houses. They bring a more personal and individual space for people, thus some projects have a much bigger scale and the architects work become a landscape architect.
