When we are made new by God, we are immediately: loved, forgiven, accepted, adopted, chosen, blessed (with every spiritual blessing), the Father’s delight, redeemed, spiritually rich, included, saved, secure, reconciled to God, an heir, God’s possession and so much more! In this series, we aim to help Christ-followers better understand some of the amazing IDENTITY that becomes ours when we put our faith in Christ. IDENTITY is a standalone series but is also the third part of a trilogy of 6- week series which includes GIFTED and PURPOSE. If we, as Christ-followers, can live in the radical centre where our purpose, gifting, and identity overlap, then we are living in the sweet spot of what God has for us.

His message challenges them to match their faith with their actions. This is a message that rings out to the church of every age, including ours.

This Sunday, Steph Bester shared an encouraging message, starting at the place of surrender - the place where our relationship with Christ really starts.
Jesus took our place as a living sacrifice, washing away our sins and making a way for us back to the Father. But it doesn't stop there. The Gospel has the power to transform our lives when we are willing to surrender our trust to Jesus.

In the Bible, all four Gospels tell us the amazing story of Jesus’ resurrection. This Easter Sunday we looked at what John the apostle wrote (John 20).
What is really interesting is that he tells the story of two witnesses to the resurrection back-to-back - Mary Magdalene and Thomas: Mary Magdalene was the first person to see Jesus after His resurrection.
Thomas was the last person of Jesus’ inner circle to see Him. Both of them (along with all the disciples) had spent the weekend in shock and devastation, and in no doubt processed it in different ways (as all of us do).

The Power Of Forgiveness - Week 2 By Steve Wimble - Has someone ever done something to you that you really struggled to forgive?
Or is there a situation in your life right now where you are finding it difficult to forgive We all have stories of pain that others have caused us... Spouses being cheated on or abandoned, business dealings that went sour, stories of abuse (verbal abuse, physical abuse, sexual abuse).
Some of it may have been inadvertent - people didn’t realize they had caused us pain - while other pain was very deliberate. Is it possible to live completely healed and whole from the pain of the past? In Christ – an emphatic YES.
In this two-part series we look at one aspect of living completely healed and whole: the power of forgiveness.
