In this episode we discuss the impact of Covid-19 vaccine mandates on our society, with a specific focus on the way the mandates have been implemented in the context of higher education. We describe how students, staff and faculty in our universities have been callously kicked to the curb simply because they have chosen to avoid taking the Covid-19 biologicals. Although there are provisions for exemptions from these mandates, there are indications that the large majority of exemption requests are being denied. The coercive pressure to vaccinate is intense and unrelenting. The exclusion of the vaccine-free from the academy amounts to a systematic ideological purge wherein free thinkers and refuseniks are expelled or forced into exile, leaving only the fearful and the compliant in our institutions of higher learning. Critically, we detail how the fundamental assumption underlying the vaccine mandates--namely that the Covid-19 biologicals prevent infection and spread of SARS-CoV-2--is inconsistent with the findings of scientific studies published in top peer-reviewed medical journals.

This episode was recorded at the tail end of the third major COVID lockdown in Ontario, Canada, and while other parts of Canada were also still under lockdown. This episode focuses on the ever increasing loss of liberty that is sweeping Canada as a result of continued COVID mania. We document how COVID has been used to justify suspension of the democratic process, increased surveillance, and the silencing and censoring of those in the Canadian medical establishment who dissent from the accepted narrative. Particular attention is given to the persecution of pastors, including James Coates, Arthur Pawlowski, Tim Stephens and Tobias Tissen. Episode 28 was recorded shortly after another strict lockdown was implemented in Ontario, Canada, in order to mitigate a putative third wave of the Covid-19 pandemic. The episode begins with a discussion of the covid-related oppression of GraceLife church by the health authorities in Alberta, Canada. We then continue with an analysis of how social scientists view conspiracy theories. We note that in general, social and political scientists view conspiracy theories as problematic and they characterize those who hold such theories as having a whole host of negative personality characteristics and dubious political motives. To solve the putative problems associated with conspiracy theories, some social scientists advocate banning conspiracy theories, censoring conspiracy theorists, infiltrating and disrupting communities that hold conspiracy theories, re-educating the population to never question their epistemic authorities, and convincing people to defer to sanctioned experts. We discuss the problems with these proposals and explain why conspiracy theorizing is a healthy component of democratic societies and how it helps prevent tyranny.

The term “conspiracy theory” is often used to discredit accusations of elite political criminality and to silence opposition to the machinations of the powers that be. In this episode we discuss the definition of the term “conspiracy theory” and how it was weaponized by the CIA to deflect criticisms of the of the dubious conclusions drawn by the Warren Commission regarding the assassination of former US President Kennedy. Introduced also in this episode is the concept of the ‘epistemic establishment’, which includes knowledge giving institutions and authorities that are trusted by the general public to provide them with truthful information about the world. It is often assumed that since we live in a so-called ‘open society’, corruption of epistemic authorities is unlikely. However, as we illustrate in considerable detail, there are good reasons to distrust our current secular epistemic authorities, and to treat their pronouncements with a healthy degree of skepticism. We provide concrete suggestions about how to find truth in a society characterized by a failing, compromised and corrupt epistemic establishment. Finally, we discuss how framing elite political crimes in terms of “State Crimes Against Democracy” (SCADs)--as suggested by Professor Lance deHaven-Smith--removes the negative stigma associated with the term ‘conspiracy theory’ while facilitating a fresh look at patterns of elite criminality that would otherwise go unnoticed.

Picking up where we left off in the last episode, we continue our discussion of the conspiratorial network of elites formed by Cecil Rhodes and his close associates (a.k.a. The Milner Group or The Network), which has influenced many important world events since its inception roughly 120 years ago. We document how this group secretly co-opted the power centers of the world—including educational institutions, the media, and political establishments—to achieve global hegemony and to control public opinion. In our analysis we describe how the group exploited the hierarchical structure of society to allow a relatively small number of elites to ultimately dominate the masses. Along these lines, we identify the 'daisy-chain appeals to experts' technique whereby experts abdicate their roles in evaluating the available scientific evidence and defer to others ostensibly above them in a hierarchy of expertise. Before we unravel the wide-reaching Milner conspiracy however, we begin with a brief discussion of Covid-related events, including the new WHO guidance regarding the interpretation of the widely-used RT-PCR tests for detecting SARS-CoV-2. And, we salute those who have been resisting Covid-related tyranny, such as Police On Guard For Thee, MPP Roman Baber and Pastor Jacob Reaume and the good folks at Trinity Bible Chapel in Ontario, Canada. Finally, we expose the large number of Canadian politicians and media and healthcare executives who chose to flout lockdown rules to go on personal vacations, all while the rest of us were left to suffer under draconian lockdown orders; we call these hypocritical bureaucrats, 'hypocrats.'

Could past and present major world events have been, and continue to be, heavily influenced by a secret elite cabal? If you were to listen only to the mainstream media, you might draw the conclusion that most (if not all) experts agree that COVID-19 is going to continue to rampage the earth unless strict lockdown procedures are implemented. In this episode we draw attention to a growing number of preeminent epidemiologists, researchers and public health professionals who are vehemently voicing an alternative view, noting that the pandemic is not as bad as it's made out to be, and that popular countermeasures such as lockdowns and masking are having disastrous side effects. Yet these experts are being almost universally suppressed by the the mainstream media, governmental authorities and big tech. We discuss various propaganda techniques that are being used to skew people's perception of expert opinion, including the use of the head-counting fallacy, the appeal to unspecified experts technique, the marginalization of dissenting experts technique, the coordinated propaganda technique, the selective enforcement technique and, of course, fear (the gift that keeps on giving!). Why is there this coordinated blackout of views that are contrary to the accepted COVID narrative?

The covid-related hysteria does not seem to be going away and the crazy covid clown show is happily rolling on. In this episode we document how, during the Covid-19 pandemic, governments have progressively taken away the civil liberties of their citizens. After giving examples of 'the selective rescue technique' and the implementation of the 'shock doctrine', we discuss how governments and law enforcement have systematically sought to close churches, even preventing so-called drive-in services that respected physical distancing rules. We explore how (shockingly) in Canada the citizens do not have the basic human rights that they believe they have. The main thesis in this episode is that rather than passively submitting to governmental overreach, Christians and liberty-loving people in so-called 'democratic societies' must push back against government overreach to recover and retain their pre-pandemic civil liberties. This principled pushback is an important way in which Christians can show love for their neighbours.

Continuing our previous discussion of the imminent return of paganism, we elaborate on the Roman pagan practices of prostitution, slavery, homosexuality and the more disturbing practices of pederasty, abortion and exposure. During our discussion we provide numerous examples of how these practices are emerging in our Western culture today. We highlight how Christianity radically changed the ancient Roman world by drastically curbing these practices and by promoting the idea that all people have equal value and that people can exert self-control and not be slaves to their depraved desires. Join us as we expose the pagan worldviews seeping into our culture, whether growing from within or coming from far off places, such as “the land of sand and sodomy”. Even as Christianity is being pushed ever more into the margins, the Christian message still has the power to free people from slavery to pagan worldviews.

Paganism is rapidly flooding into the West and the growing impact of paganism is perhaps most evident in our culture's changing views on sexuality and marriage. It's commonly believed that the cultural wars in the West reflect a conflict between Christianity (more generally, religion) and secularism. In this episode we entertain a thesis put forth by law professor Steven Smith (and previously by T.S. Eliot), which is that modern cultural conflicts might be better understood as reflecting a historical battle between Christianity and paganism. As a start to our exploration of this intriguing thesis, we spend the lion's share of this episode unpacking core themes of paganism, including pantheism, animism, and forms of pagan worship. Listeners will learn about syncretism and henotheism and even encounter chthonic goddesses which were the focus of orgiastic temple worship practices. As we discuss these topics we describe how the psychedelics seem to spawn pagan beliefs and how pagan views are making their way into current scientific and philosophical theories of consciousness (i.e., panpsychism). Most importantly, we highlight (sometimes shocking) ways that paganism is manifesting in our society today, including how pagan ideology is being blatantly conveyed in the characters and storylines of popular movies and Netflix shows for children, and by the placement of pagan statues in prominent places (even scientific institutions; e.g., CERN).

In this third instalment of our Jordan Peterson deconstruction we focus on Peterson's views on, and interpretations of, the Christian Bible. Drawing on content from his popular Bible Series available on YouTube, we document how Peterson interprets the Bible based on Carl Jung's pagan archetypal psychology. Jordan Peterson, a Professor of Psychology at the University of Toronto, has recently enjoyed a meteoric rise to fame with his energetic and refreshing critiques of Marxist, left-leaning ideologies entrenched in the Arts Faculties of many universities. Peterson has expressed his views on morality, politics, science and religion in YouTube videos, public lectures, media interviews and his recent self-help book titled "12 Rules for Life: An Antidote to Chaos". Because of his effective attacks on the political Left, many Christians have found themselves agreeing with Peterson's views, and even recommending his lectures on the Bible. But are Peterson's teachings consistent with Christianity? Continuing our discussion of the various worldview change techniques used in the context of science fiction and fantasy stories, we explore how normalization (sometimes using repetition), behavioural and attitudinal pre-programming, and disarmament through comic relief can be used to modify the audiences' worldviews. We provide examples from popular films and shows, including Captain America, Thor, Voltron, the Avengers Assemble, Clone Wars, Luke Cage, Alita: Battle Angel, Ghost in the Shell and the Green Lantern. Extending the issues raised in the last episode, in this episode we continue to identify several techniques that are commonly used by those who desire to change your worldview. Specifically, we discuss how worldview engineers can occasion worldview change by rewriting history (or at least by casting it in a different light) and by embedding subversive ideas in fictional stories (in movies, TV shows, novels etc.). We illustrate the use of these techniques with reference to recent uses of the term 'genocide' in political discourse and by revealing the subtle messaging in popular TV shows (The Flash & The 12 Monkeys).

In this episode we discuss the rapid rise of shamanism in the West. As shamanism becomes more popular in modern Western culture, its true characteristics are being obscured to make it more palatable to the West. We expose the well-documented dark aspects of shamanic practice and the link between shamanism and the use of psychedelic drugs.

When people take certain types of psychedelic drugs, they enter into a mystical state characterized by a depersonalized fusion with a divine light. Proponents of psychedelic use claim that such states (which are also at the heart of many Eastern religious practices) are ultimately good for humanity and society. In addition, some scientists claim that mystical states, when induced by psychedelics, can have curative effects (e.g., reducing anxiety and depression). In this episode we deconstruct the psychedelic mystical experience and analyze the popular claim that such experiences are beneficial.

Recently, there has been a renewed interest in the potential benefits of psychedelic drugs. In this episode we explore 1) how the use of psychedelic drugs can have a transformative and lasting impact on the worldviews of those who use them, 2) how a psychedelic experience can drive people to practice certain mainstream religions, and 3) claims that some mainstream religions were inspired by ancestral use of psychedelic drugs. While some people propose that psychedelics are a panacea for modern mental health issues and that they offer an easy and direct path to transcendence, we explore the dark side of the psychedelic experience, with a particular focus on the otherworldly entities people meet while under the influence of DMT (ayahuasca).

In this episode we explore the role that the media plays in spreading propaganda. Noam Chomsky's propaganda model is discussed together with various lines of evidence supporting the notion that the institutional structure of news media outlets makes them into inherent purveyors of propaganda.
