Prince T.C.H., The Singer, The Musician, The Artist, is a native of Como, North Carolina. It has always been his dream to have the opportunity to share with the world his God given talent of singing. His voice and powerful musical interpretation move’s and inspires audiences in his local area and other states.
A big believer in LOVE, Prince T.C.H. supports Real R&B Music. He believes that music can Make a Difference in the world.
Prince T.C.H. is a qualified singer & musician. He holds an Associate of Arts Degree from Roanoke Chowan Community College in Ahoskie, NC and a Bachelor’s of Music degree from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University (A&T).
Prince T.C.H. is no stranger to the life of music. Music has been in his DNA since birth. Coming from a musical family, Prince T.C.H. was destined to pursue a music career. His parents and grandparents taught him as a child many of the basic principles of music. He began singing and learning to play other instruments by ear and has since taught himself how to play piano, drums, and guitar. Having spent 10 years as a pianist and a professional singer, Prince T.C.H. has traveled in various states across the east coast. While in school at A&T, he had the opportunity to perform in Canada and sing in front of famous celebrities such as Terrence J, Tank, The Walls Group, Tye Tribbett, Avery Sunshine, and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s son. He has also had the pleasure of performing on live television for UNC-TV Christmas Special, which airs every year, and win a competition for a record label signing contract. During the pandemic of 2020, Prince T.C.H. took advantage of the time allotted and began to grow his social media platforms; with Instagram being his main focus. Prince T.C.H. not only grew his following by 10,000 followers but also performed for A class celebrities such as LL Cool J, Affion Crockett, J. White, Eric Bellinger, Avery Wilson, Karlton Humes, and even Wanya Morris of Boyz II Men. Prince T.C.H. was involved in a competition on Instagram called #WanWednesday hosted by Wanya Morris. He competed against 66 other contestants and made it all the way to the top 20. This opportunity opened countless avenues for him and the world will soon see the results of that.
Prince T.C.H. started his own R&B/Pop Group called 3rd Lane while getting his undergraduate degree. As artistic director and lead vocalist, the group won many local competitions and received recognition from peers all the way to the Mayor of Greensboro, NC.
Prior to starting his dream as a professional Singer, Musician, and Artist, Prince T.C.H. spent 5 years as an office assistant, 10 years as a church musician and 3 years as a middle school and high school Chorus Teacher.
Prince T.C.H. specializes in 90’s R&B Music, Gospel, and Smooth Jazz Ballads. Some of his inspirations for singing are Stevie Wonder, Tank, PJ Morton, Joe, and Brian McKnight; just to name a few.
Prince T.C.H. is also the creator of “Make a Difference Artist Showcase”; which is a social media platform that gives other singers, dancers, musicians, artists, etc. the promotion they need to gain more followers and to showcase their talents. Prince T.C.H. is a Co-Author of “Unlocking Your God Given Potential” Daily Devotional.
Prince T.C.H. believes his purpose on earth is to uplift people through his music. His music will bring people back to the source of all good, which is love. “Once love is brought back to the center of everything we do, we will see a change in the world”- Prince T.C.H.
Prince T.C.H. has completed his Master’s Degree in Digital Marketing & Advertising from Liberty University. After a successful career in music, Prince T.C.H. plans on advising other singers, musicians, and artists, like himself, on how to achieve success in the music industry.
On July 11th 2019, Prince T.C.H. released his first EP entitled “Love and Hate” which received 1,000 streams in the first day! He is currently working on his second EP entitled “Love and Hate Vol. 2”
In 2021-2022 Prince T.C.H. was a contestant on the legendary, iconic American Idol. Out of 100,000 singers who audition, Prince T.C.H. had the opportunity to audition in Los Angeles in front of Katy Perry, Lionel Richie, and Luke Bryan. During the audition, Prince T.C.H. received such compliments such as, “You have the stardust”, “I admire the enthusiasm of your showmanship” and “I’m surprised he’s not a star already”. With these comments and his amazing vocals, Prince T.C.H. received the Golden Ticket and headed to Hollywood. Prince T.C.H. made it through Genre Round and Duet Round. Even though he didn’t make it to the Top 24, he still made an impact to his friends, family, students, and community by making the Top 59.
