Cheney Joseph says he is still the elected President of the Grenada Football Association (GFA) despite what he called an attempted coup by some disgruntled executive members.
Joseph remarks followed a reported decision by five executive members to suspend the president at a meeting on Saturday.No official statement has been released by the GFA but Joseph, who was re-elected unopposed last May, confirmed that a meeting was held and he was informed about the 'attempted coup'.Joseph spoke to GrenadaSports on Sunday January 27, 2019 where he discussed the decision as well as his next move.
