Jackson Stava's path to the Athletic Director's chair is not a conventional one. He graduated from Azuza Pacific University with a bachelor's degree in Youth Ministry and Biblical Studies and from there realized that he had a passion for working with student athletes. He was hired to be Seattle Pacific University's Athletic Director in 2016 and has been working hard to build a strong athletic program that focuses on more than just wins and losses.
Shondell Reed, Senior Associate Athletic Director at the University of Washington, tells us his story about his pathway into athletics. The road to his current job at the University of Washington was long and filled with many detours as he originally wanted to pursue a career in Law.
