Hey everyone! It's Chasey here from the Novel Navigator. In today's post, I will be interviewing my grandma concerning the topic of how to read the Bible. My grandma has been a believer in Christ for more than thirty years and she has some valuable ways she studies God's Word. She will briefly share her journey of Bible studying throughout the years as well as discuss how she reads passages that may be harder to understand for her. In addition, my grandma will provide some examples of how she draws true meaning from her devotions. She will share Bible verses that stand out to her while she is reading and explain how she uses the Bible to spread the Gospel. Lastly, my grandma will give tips to new or young believers who may be a little intimidated by the Bible on how to start studying God's Word with purpose.
Just a mild disclaimer: I understand that different people use different ways of gleaning true understanding from the Bible; some choose to write in a journal while reading, while others are content with underlining key verses and writing comments in the margins. Everyone has their own uniqueness when it comes to studying Scripture. With that being said, I hope you are able to gather some valuable information on how to improve your Bible-reading time.
