New beginnings and fresh start. If you can let go of the past, freeing yourself of failures and disappointments, you can embrace a new perspective.
We all go through situation where life is not fair, sometimes other people’s poor choices have a negative effect on us. Maybe you were raised in an unhealthy environment, now you’re still struggling with the same addictions, depression, anger; it keeps getting passed down. One of the lessons I have learnt is that you can’t live very long without being dropped; dropped by an illness, divorce, a friend that turns on you. You may have been carried and dropped by someone who was trying to save you, dropped by someone else’s fall, dropped into a place where you didn’t belong and now as a result of the fall, you can’t walk straight. Who dropped you? Your parents - they abandoned you? Your spouse - marital vows broken? Your lover/ you have been dumped? Your employer - you out in your best and you have been dismissed G
Uncertainty. Just that word can make our stomachs churn, our hearts pound faster and our minds race. Everyone is dealing with uncertainty right now due to upheaval of the coronavirus, civil unrest- whether it be your travel, work, schedule, group meetings, church, school , childcare etc. it all boils down to your PLANS becoming uncertain, less fixed. Less k own. We are used to booming our schedules weeks or months in advance. We live in uncertain times, while I still believe this is true. I am starting to conclude that we live in uncertain lines. It’s easy to say “just trust God”. But my fears can be bigger than my faith in dark moments. Are you battling to keep things in perspective when difficult times come? Do you worry unnecessarily and make fear based choices? What is your biggest struggle in this area? Through these dark times we always have to hold on to hope Hope that God will work everything. In these uncertain times that God wants us to say “I trust in You, I am more than ever, I will keep trusting in You!

The woman whose back was bent was noticed by Jesus just as He notices you. Your spouse, your children, your friends, co-workers, may not notice you but Jesus does. He sees your pain, misery, He sees the affliction...that’s why He is El-Roi. Child of God , I wonder what is bent over, bent double in your life today? What through circumstances and forces beyond your control tethers you? What is restricting your mobility? What shrinks your perspective down to a patch of dirt at your feet? What is keeping you from meeting others face to face? No matter what you are going through today, God knows, He sees and loved you through Christ. Your life may be falling apart right now, all your work may seem to be unraveling right before you. Your relationships may seem strained and life is very difficult right now. In the middle of all of it is our sovereign God who sees, who knows and loves you. 18 years! Child of God, I declare to you that regardless of how long you have been struggling with your situation there is help, there is hope. God is stepping into your situation. The Power of God will do what man could not do, in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
