- He didn't think he was qualified to do the purpose of God for his life
- He was the weakest in his clan
- He was the lead in his father's house
- He presented a sacrifice/provision ( our life is now a living sacrifice )
- He gave it the way that he instructed
- He gave peace ( Jehovah Shalom)
- God accepted the offering
- God visited him personally
- He built an altar: A place where God can appear and commune. Where you can lay a sacrifice.
- The same night that the lord spoke again
- His process was instant
- Gideon made himself responsive, and God guided him

Establish: set up (an organization, system, or set of rules) on a firm or permanent basis.
- Yield and submit yourself: agree with God and be conformed to his will.
- When you submit to his will, you experience good will come to you.
- You will be built and restored
- Removing unrighteousness far from our lives
- Considering “world valuables” as resources and not “God.”
- Praying is our lifeline
- He lifts up the humble

- Some trials aren't brought upon us by the devil.
- God is gaining our attention by delivering us into the hand of the enemy.
- This story shows how Israel was in a repeat cycle of sin, bondage, and needed deliverance.

God promise to Isaac

God's Promise to Isaac
Genesis 26 Now there was a famine in the land, besides the former famine that was in the days of Abraham. And Isaac went to Gerar to Abimelech king of the Philistines. 2 And the Lord appeared to him and said, “Do not go down to Egypt; dwell in the land of which I shall tell you. 3 Sojourn in this land, and I will be with you and will bless you, for to you and to your offspring I will give all these lands, and I will establish the oath that I swore to Abraham your father. 4 I will multiply your offspring as the stars of heaven and will give to your offspring all these lands. And in your offspring all the nations of the earth shall be blessed, 5 because Abraham obeyed my voice and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and my laws.”
God's Promise to Jacob
Genesis 28:10-16
I am the Lord, the God of your father Abraham and the God of Isaac. I will give you and your descendants the land on which you are lying. 14 Your descendants will be like the dust of the earth, and you will spread out to the west and to the east, to the north and to the south. All peoples on earth will be blessed through you and your offspring.[d] 15 I am with you and will watch over you wherever you go, and I will bring you back to this land. I will not leave you until I have done what I have promised you.”

Forgiveness-the action or process of forgiving or being forgiven.
Pardon
The word nāśā (accent on the second syllable, with the vowel sounding like the word “ah’”) means “the taking away, forgiveness or pardon of sin, iniquity, and transgression.” So characteristic is this action of taking away sin that it is listed as one of God’s attributes (e.g., Exod 34:7; Num 14:18, Mic 7:18).
Micah 7:18- Who is a God like you,
who pardons sin and forgives the transgression
of the remnant of his inheritance?
Where is another God like you,
who pardons the guilt of the remnant,
overlooking the sins of his special people?
You will not stay angry with your people forever,
because you delight in showing unfailing love.

Once again you will have compassion on us.
You will trample our sins under your feet
and throw them into the depths of the ocean!

You will show us your faithfulness and unfailing love
as you promised to our ancestors Abraham and Jacob long ago.
