James Elson chats to UK born, US based Ultrarunner Ian Sharman ahead of his upcoming visit to race in the UK for the first time since 2009 – at this years Centurion Running South Downs Way 100. Ian is a four time winner of the Leadville Trail 100, ten time Western States 100 finisher with nine consecutive top ten finishes to his name. And previous US 100 mile trail record holder with his 12:44 at Rocky Raccoon. The two recap Ian’s running history, the appeal of the 100 mile distance.
