Harris and their boss-stroke-guvnor, the Gaffer. In spite of a crippling addiction to cocktails, and the most machiavellian of ex wives Snaith always gets results. Snaith is forced to dance to the tune of his media sidekick, fruitlessly searching London's battered hinterland while international concern spreads as far as the Vatican itself.

Case Four. D.I.
