A Sports Information Director -- SID for short -- controls a lot of what you see and hear about a team. Each sport has their own SID and they are essentially the gate keepers of information for said sport.
In this episode, I spoke with Steve and Denver, SIDs at UF for football and men's basketball, respectively. They talked about the most difficult news they've had to "spin", how much they influence student athletes for interviews, and what happens when one of the athletes refuses to talk to the media.
