A global dimension to science education in schools - for iBooks

The Open University

1 Episode

Is your science teaching very ‘Western-oriented’? This unit is aimed at those teachers who would like to give a more global feeling to their teaching. You will learn how to source scientific articles with a greater emphasis on science and technology beyond the Western world and experience how such articles can be incorporated into teaching within the National Curriculum. This study unit is just one of many that can be found on LearningSpace, part of OpenLearn, a collection of open educational resources from The Open University. Published in ePub 2.0.1 format, some feature such as audio, video and linked PDF are not supported by all ePub readers.
