Rusty shares a few thoughts about our ministry to the family and how we should remember that our family members will each have different needs. God knows this and provides us the appropriate help to us so that we can provide the appropriate help to them. Continuing on yesterday's theme of removing the brace, we should also be reminded that maturity requires walking through things when we may not feel ready, but the braces needs to come off so that God's strength can be released in our walk and ensure scar tissue does not hinder us down the road.

Rusty puts a cinematic hat on today to describe an odd dream about death and dangerous living that may or may not have to do with anything - you be the judge. What he does know is that although our enemy is just a 'little yang', we must choose our life result or the default condition of our existence will lead us straight into the Death Trap.
Rusty focuses on the importance, and really, the end-goal of relationships and how they meet a desperate need we all have by providing nutrients to our life. By hearing and acting on God's Word, we can focus our energies on the most appropriate sources of this 'life nutrition' and actively root out that which hinders our intended harvest.

We must keep control over what we say - especially when the words from our own mouth may not, at times, fully agree with the truth of the Word.

Rusty James gets real and lets you know of one way to ensure that mountains disappear while you walk. It all has to do with your vantage, who you hang with on the way and the fact that you don't stop... walking. You may also experience some hidden provision on the way as you gain new levels and victory potential.

Rusty looks in Romans 8 and gets a sense for what could be a stumbling block to reaching the destiny God has planned for each one of us. It has a lot to do with loving God. But how do we love Him? Rusty has some ideas to try - they may just open our eyes to what the Spirit is desiring for you. And what is that you ask? ...it is the perfect will of God - unhindered in your life.
Rusty considers how we view and interpret the signals that come into our life. If we are not careful we may base our self "control" on a wrong understanding. Perhaps we need to go through a reboot to recalibrate our personal "control system" to lean more on the unseen and less on the seen. And don't worry that you may not see those things you hope for - your Father will still provide.
Rusty wants to pump you up. Encouraged by Psalms 119:40, Rusty is reminded that we must hasten and not delay to obey the word. It is not enough to simply have a grip on what the Word says, we must exercise our alignment with God's commands. Remembering that it is really obedience in the face of resistance that is the key to building up our strength.
Rusty considers that God's plan to bring us from the shadow of who we think we are to who we were meant to be is much like wood turning. Though unpleasant at times, the beauty of our workmanship requires certain thoughts and ideas and dependencies to be cut away. Today's 'cast also tackles some past hurts and goes right to our Father for a freedom that surpasses our intellect.
Rusty is smack dab in the middle of a holding pattern and wants to encourage us all to use times like this to receive strength from our Lord. Whether we are in our holding cell for reasons beyond our control or not, Rusty reminds us that this is a perfect time to hear for the proper direction. We don't want to look back over our life and realize we were traveling on the wrong mountain range. Good thing God can place us where we need to be no matter our location - or age.
Rusty reminds us that the love of God is stronger than even the fierce love we have for our children. Because of this and His love for all of His children, we need to rest in that knowledge and not discount who we are. Led by the Spirit, Rusty goes off script and takes authority over any footholds the enemy has gained in the lives of our kids - locking in that we are defined not by our shifting opinions but by who God says we are.
Rusty challenges our enemy to a war of words. In the enemy's corner, deceit, half-truths and defeat; and in our corner, the power of God, pure love, and true life. Today's 'cast is a stern reminder of the importance of words and a wake up call to decide which camp we will align with. Two facts: 1) Words contain eternal power and 2) We get to decide which ones get prime time in our life.
Rusty looks at a fairly simple scripture in Psalms and digs for the nuggets. Are we stubbornly abiding by our self-righteous moral code or are we willing to adhere to the teaching found in the Word of God? Rusty wants us all to know that the righteous commandments of God are there to bring life - even in the midst of a world of unrighteousness and death. We can have the "want to" to follow His ways if we only... yield.
Rusty looks at some nuggets in the Word of God about trust and how our response to the Lord should be on good days as well as on the others. Getting a new infusion of power from on high is part of the key. Listen in and get powered up ...and again I say Trust!
Rusty gets real and exposes that he's going through something but is depending on the steadfast nature of God to help him get through. Encouraging words for anyone going through one of life's jolts. With Christ in your corner, you can overcome the world. John 16:33
Rusty wonders if we are really wanting to have newness of life from the Spirit or are we simple mowing over our issues so others are unaware of destructive growth in our life. God has taken the necessary steps so we can be weed-free, but it is up to us to believe it and foster Godly relationships. Remember: it is the relationship with our Maker that combats the enemy's attempts at sowing seeds of death and brings us to greater levels of new life - each and every morning.
Rusty wants us all to see the real benefits of actively being a good communicator. Whether we are dealing with our kids, our co-workers, our spouse or our God, communication really can be a make-or-break issue in our relationships. Let's make sure we are clear and consistent and full of grace when we interact with others.
Rusty tells us all how to make sure we are running on all cylinders so we can handle all that life can dish out... as well as a reminder to get consistent good sleep or else you might get wacked out dreams. But hey, sometimes wacked out dreams can convey a real spiritual truth. Listen in to see if it is true that God spoke any wisdom to Rusty about the "Wave of Spiritual Death".
Rusty decided to adjust his attitude and base it on that which does not change instead of the season he happens to be in. Recommending that we all to do the same will bring a brand new outlook on life and increase our desire to seek after the Rock and His unchanging attributes.
Rusty is all about making sure we know that which we chase after. Taking a play from the enemy's playbook, he encourages us to be relentless in our striving - but with our goal being to seek after the bread and the sustenance of the Spirit of God. Let us not relent in this journey for the pursuit must be made on legs that stand fast.
Rusty wants us to rest in God's provision by turning around and looking at what we have in Him. Though we may become tired of difficult situations in life that are beyond our control, we must not seek the wrong things to find temporary strength. There is green grass on THIS side of the fence if you only look.
Rusty wants to honor the act of nurturing - a pattern of behavior most notably embodied by mothers across the globe. His encouragement to all believers is to recognize the nurturing nature of God and how it can be manifested through you - no matter your gender. We can encourage others to grow beyond their issues when we are open enough to show we don't have it all together either but we still rely on God nonetheless.
Rusty looks at the Tower of Babel and draws a parallel with how we many times rely on our own strength or intellect to build our monuments.
