A sitcom about two struggling writers with a deadline to meet, but a severe case of writer's block and their fantasy adventures.
CHAPTER VI: THE GREATEST STORY EVER TOLD
Nic and Joe are dead and Merlin the storyteller must try to rescue their legend from the mists of time, with one last story and a little help from a few familiar faces, like thingy and whatsit.
The epic finale to the interminable series tells of a Christmas miracle, which sees Nic and Joe come face to face with a new friend - in the vague snow-based shape of Dave Benson Phillips. What could possibly go wrong...?

Also starring Simon Atherton, Emma Smyth, Matt Risby and Jo Beadle Special guest stars, Jessica-Jane Stafford and Dave Benson Phillips Additional voices by Anton Belton, Sarah Deery, Kirsty McDonald, MrJac, Rob Myles, Sean Nelis and Iain Orkisz
And so, it is time for the legend of Nic and Joe to reach its final chapter but there is still time for them to go out with a bang as the duo embark on a fateful journey to London town to find fame and fortune. Will they ever be able to catch their big break, or will this adventure break them? Find out, in the most exciting season finale since 'Saved by the Bell - The New Class'.
If I could turn back time, if I could find a way, I'd take back those words that hurt you and you'd stay. Nic and Joe on the other hand have an impending deadline for their sitcom and could do with turning back time themselves. A mysterious forgotten object hidden behind the wall could very well be the answer to their prayers. Why not travel in time yourselves by skipping to the end?...
Are you sitting comfortably? Well then get a cushion or something. A hair related mishap starts a chain of events for Nic leading to a life or death encounter with some less than friendly rodents. Who will win, man or mouse?
An impossible jigsaw, a suspiciously free holiday and a killer panda are just some of the obstacles Nic and Joe have to face, as their adventures take them Stateside (to America). Will Joe ever get home again, or will he have to spend the rest of his life saying “aluminium” wrong?
There's something weird and it don't look good. Nic and Joe's new house has a ghostly housemate living in the toilet... and one that doesn't even do his share of the washing up. Will Joe ever be able to set foot in his bathroom again or will he just have to hold it in forever?
With a surprise commission there is nothing stopping Nic and Joe writing the best sitcom the world has ever seen. Apart from a unpaid gas bill that leads to a case of faked death and a very unusual cult. Not to mention a deadly dingo!
