Today Eric interviews one of his favorite students, Kevin Knecht, who signed up as a protege after taking part in a free sales skills presentation in 2016.
Briefly becoming one of Eric's coaches, Kevin decided to branch out and become a network marketer. He reached a six figure income in 18 months, with sales team of over a thousand.
He gives his top tips for becoming a successful salesperson, no matter what company you decide to represent:
~ Learn sales processes from a mentor – look for someone who has the results you are trying to achieve. Find someone you can run with (figuratively and literally!) A good coach can see your blind spots and help you improve.
~ Make sales effortless, by combining the right person, with the right offer or service, at the right time.
~ Plant your flag and build long term success, one brick at a time.
~ Overcome objections by getting a lot of little yeses that lead to a big yes.
~ Commit to success. Get daily small wins under your belt. Tap into your greatness and spin in a positive direction.
~ Take care of all areas of your life.
~ Stay in the game long enough, and you will win. Immerse yourself in one thing for 1 year. Figure out what works and repeat.
~ Take imperfect action now.
~ Find a way to be happy on a daily basis.
