Yes, Jesus Did Teach Against Homosexuality

Bryan Fischer here with today’s Life and Liberty Minute. In the debate over homosexuality, those in the pro-sodomy movement contend that Jesus never taught against homosexuality. It was only the uptight apostle Paul who did that. But they’re flat wrong. Paul tells us explicitly in Galatians one that “the gospel that was preached by me is not man’s gospel. For I received it through a revelation of Jesus Christ.” Every word of my gospel, Paul says, I received directly from Jesus Christ. He manifested himself to me and taught me everything that’s in my gospel. It did not come from any man. Thus when Paul speaks, Christ speaks. So when Paul says in Romans that homosexual passions are “dishonorable, shameless, and contrary to nature,” that’s not just Paul speaking, that’s Christ himself. Did Christ teach that homosexuality is a sin? Absolutely.
