Before you can truly be rooted and built up in Christ, and free from the condemnation of your wounded heart, you must first surrender your wounded heart, by faith, and allow Christ in you to help you forgive those who have left you wounded.
Without walking in the identity of who we are in Christ, we will never be free from the torment of our past or our wounded heart.
Through the cross, Christ has delivered us from our past. A past that for those with wounded hearts no doubt includes a past filled with unforgiveness, bitterness, anger and a lack of self importance or value.
Our ability to overcome is simply dependent upon two things: First, it is dependent upon what we believe and second, it is dependent upon where we put our faith.
