Full Moons are all about releasing and letting go. Releasing people that no longer need to be in your life, negative energies, negative patterns, behaviours and toxic relationships. It’s all about being out with the old to make way for the new. It is a time to release that which no longer serves you, what you no longer need in your life or an aspect of yourself that you have outgrown. This week I share 3 rituals you can do during a full moon.

There are many tools you can use to manifest what you want into your reality. The key is to incorporate all your senses into your manifestation methods. However, always remember that even though we may want something to manifest within a particular time the universe and our guides know better and will only ever help us manifest whatever is for our highest good, what is best for our journey and when its in divine timing. Patience and non attachment to the outcome are therefore important pieces of the manifesting puzzle.

And the people stayed home. And read books, and listened, and rested, and exercised, and made art, and played games, and learned new ways of being, and were still. And listened more deeply. Some meditated, some prayed, some danced. Some met their shadows. And the people began to think differently. And the people healed. And, in the absence of people living in ignorant, dangerous, mindless, and heartless ways, the earth began to heal. And when the danger passed, and the people joined together again, they grieved their losses, and made new choices, and dreamed new images, and created new ways to live and heal the earth fully, as they had been healed - Kitty O'Meara My books 365 Daily Affirmations and Chakras: A Beginner's Guide are available on Amazon.

A new moon represents the end of a cycle and the beginning of another 29.5 day cycle. So its a great time to make a fresh start, start a new project, set your intentions and turn over a new leaf. New Moon rituals help you harness that energy and give more power to goals and intentions!

Your subconscious mind has immense power in controlling your life experiences. Every bit of your life is guided by your subconscious beliefs and patterns. Colour therapy and healing (also known as chromotherapy or light therapy) is a type of holistic healing that uses the visible spectrum of light and colour to affect a person’s mood and physical or mental health. It is the science of using colours to adjust the body’s vibrations to frequencies that result in health and harmony. Each colour possesses frequencies of a specific vibration, and each vibration is related to different physical symptoms, which many believe contribute to specific properties that can be used to affect the energy and frequencies within our bodies. The unique frequencies and vibrations of various colours can influence emotions and enable healing.

There is no goal in meditation. The goal is not to become more spiritual. The goal is not to become more enlightened. The goal is not to reach a state of nirvana. The goal is just to be present in that moment and to witness. Whatever is happening, just be a witness, don’t be identified. You are not the body, you are not the mind, you are not the astral body. You are not the silence, you are not all those flowers that are showering on you. You are only a witness. The witness is the very being of a Buddha

To feel intensely is not a symptom of weakness, it is the trademark of the truly alive and compassionate. It is not the empath who is broken, it is society that has become dysfunctional and emotionally disabled. There is no shame in expressing your authentic feelings. Those who are at times described as being a 'hot mess' or having 'too many issues' are the very fabric of what keeps the dream alive for a more caring, humane world. Never be ashamed to let your tears shine a light in this world” - Anthon St. Maarte

We all vibrate energetically at a particular frequency. The lower the frequency, the denser your energy, and the heavier you feel. When you vibrate at a low frequency, you experience pain and discomfort in your physical body, heavy emotions, mental confusion and you need to exert a great deal of effort to accomplish your goals. The higher the frequency of your energy or vibration, the lighter you feel in your physical, emotional and mental bodies. You experience greater personal power, clarity, peace, love, and joy. You have little, if any, discomfort or pain in your physical body, and your emotions are easily dealt with. Your energy is literally full of light! Your life flows with synchronicity, and you manifest what you desire with ease. This episode discusses how to raise your vibrations!

Why do we believe the things we believe? Why do we do the things we do? Where do our values come from? Are we always presenting our authentic selves to the world or do we present the self that has been moulded and conditioned by society? This week we will talk about group think and social conditioning and how to step out of it.

To err is human, to forgive is divine - Alexander Pope. When we forgive, we do it for our healing, our happiness, our growth and our inner peace. It is divine to forgive especially if the other person has not sought our forgiveness or expressed remorse for their actions. But how do we forgive? How do we reconcile all that another has done to us? In this episode, I will take you through a journey of forgiving.

"The future of humanity will be decided not by relations between nations but by relations between women and men" - D.H Lawrence. Whilst feminism strives for gender equality, womanism aims at gender reconciliation. Gender reconciliation highlights the simple idea that both men and women are afflicted by gender injustice and each needs the other for true and complete healing. Feminism is championed by, and concerned with the issues facing middle class white women. It is not intersectional. Womanism on the other hand recognises that women can face multiple levels of oppression because of their sex, gender, race, class, sexuality and able-bodiedness. Womanism is committed to the survival and wholeness of entire people - male and female.

Dreams are a way of understanding our subconscious. They also serve as places of healing and learning. Dreams are also a medium to receive messages, guidance and warnings. Our dreams are unique to us and can only be connected to each of our individual experiences. When we acquire the ability to interpret dreams then we have a powerful tool to unlock our subconscious, understand ourselves and communicate with the universe.

White supremacy is the belief that white people are racially superior to black people, Indigenous people and people of color. It is the label given to systems and institutions - whether political, economic, social or cultural - and to subconscious internalisations fuelled by this belief that ensures white people are treated superior. This episode is inspired by Episode 2 - Dumb Shit Spiritual People Say...and Do! I suggest you listen to that episode first if you haven't already. "New age" spirituality continues to be trendy and consequently problematic. This episode covers everything from appropriating spiritual systems from different cultures and repackaging and selling them for exorbitant amounts; taking advantage of vulnerable people at the beginning of their spiritual journeys and spiritual gurus not practising what they preach!

Our third eye (or pineal gland) is the seat of our intuition, imagination, insight, wisdom, psychic abilities, access to mystical states, illumination, clarity, truth, perception of subtle energies and self awareness. It helps balance our masculine and feminine energies. Many ancient cultures, such as the Kemets, believed that our third eye was responsible for spiritual consciousness. When our third eye chakra is fully activated, a doorway towards spiritual enlightenment is opened. We see life with clarity and possess strong intuition, insight, self-awareness and emotional and spiritual balance. We are not controlled or limited by the mind and we are much more insightful and understanding of ourselves, other people and life in general. This episode explores how to fully activate our third eye.

A few years ago, the darkness walked into my house and made itself at home. I thought it was paying me a visit and would be gone in a few days. Instead, she stayed a few years. She made herself comfortable and watched as I rejected her, ignored her, glossed over her and found ways to distract myself from her with new lovers and new addictions. She stayed until I finally realised she wasn’t going anywhere. Then she showed me all the times I had not healed. She showed me all the times I had been manipulative, narcissistic and selfish. She showed me the pain I had not healed from my childhood, my father, my mother, my lovers. She showed me the pain I had caused. I spent those years looking externally and wanting everyone to give me a cure. There was no cure for what I had. I had to sit with it. There were days I didn’t think I would make it to see the next. There were days I cried out “Why have you forsaken me?”. There were days I cried until there were no more tears. There were days I stayed in bed all day. There were days were I walked the streets but didn’t see my surroundings. I surrendered. Months passed. Years passed. This is the story of my death and rebirth. This is the story of my soul's darkest night.

Everyone has innate intuitive and psychic abilities. The difference is a matter of how connected we are to them. Intuitive and psychic abilities are like muscles. The more you train them, the more defined and stronger they become. This week's episode explores how you can develop your intuitive and psychic abilities. When fully developed, they help you navigate through daily challenges, assist you in making major life decisions and, more importantly, connect you to universal consciousness.

In this episode, I have a special guest, Crumb TV. Crumb TV is a teacher of the metaphysics and will be chatting to me about the 7 Laws of the Universe also know as the 7 Hermetic Principles or the 7 Laws of Tehuti. We will go over where these laws came from and give a detailed explanation of each law and how they apply in your day to day.
There are 7 Universal Laws or Principles by which everything in the Universe is governed. These 7 Laws are 1) The Law of Mentalism 2) The Law of Correspondence 3) The Law of Vibration 4) The Law of Cause and Effect 5) The Law of Gender 6)The Law of Rhythm 7) The Law of Polarity
The Universe exists in perfect harmony by virtue of these Laws. Ancient mystical, esoteric and secret teachings dating back from ancient Kemet and Greece all have these laws as a common thread. Once you understand, apply and align yourself with these Universal Laws, you will experience transformation in every area of your life because you will be in perfect harmony with the universe. You will be a master of self, a co-creator with the universe and be on the path of ascension.

We are the sum of all our experiences - past and present. This includes experiences we have had earlier in our life and in our past lives. Our past lives can highlight areas that need healing in this lifetime. They can also provide insight on recurring themes and the source of the dynamics in our various relationships - whether it be friendships, intimate relationships or family. In this episode, I will explore why we don't remember our past lives, how we can access memories of our past lives and how we can use them as a tool for healing.

"You are the fairytale told by your ancestors" - Toba Beta
This week, I continue my conversation with Yolanda Finette in Part 2 of our conversation on racial identity. In a world where your racial identity can influence your starting point in life, the experiences of people with multi racial identities is nuanced. Yolanda Finette is a first nations woman from the Yorta Yorta clan. She is also African American and Greek. In this, and the previous, episode we talk about racial identity, specifically multi racial identity. How does one navigate multiple racial and cultural identities? How does society treat people with multiple racial and cultural identities? What exactly is racial impostor syndrome? What happens when one of those racial identities belongs to an ancestor who was responsible for the oppression of your people?
Yolanda is a holistic life coach, consultant and healer who is passionate about facilitating a soul-transforming shift for people to open up to their personal power, purpose and potential. Yolanda’s practice honours identity, culture, personal sovereignty and sacred healing. After a professional career spanning over 25 years in the area of child, youth and family services in both the Melbourne Koorie community and the United States, Yolanda embarked on her own journey of healing and reconnection. This journey, along with her counselling and life coaching studies, enabled her the tools to create a unique approach to her work. Through a cultural lens, she fuses ancestral wisdom with her clients own innate intuition and power to help unveil life-changing shifts and alignment. If love is a feeling and an action, then self love is how we feel and act towards ourselves. Everyone tells us that self love is the key, but no one really tells us how to get to a place where we are the love of our lives. Self love is not always about running yourself a bubble bath and taking yourself on dates. Self love involves setting difficult boundaries with people you love, healing, getting to know our own darkness and relaxing into it and being happy being alone. In this episode I will walk you through what self love looks like spiritually, emotionally and physically.

"We, the quiet people, need to rebel. We need our children to rebel – not necessarily by chanting platitudes or yelling into megaphones. But if we don’t encourage them to demonstrate or protest, then we need to instil the wisest of all our skills in our children: DOUBT. We don’t need the kind of doubt that cripples us into inaction, but the kind that inspires generous thirst for investigation. Doubt is just another word for investigation, the application of intellectual rigour, the wrestle of the mind with difficult concepts, the desire to make the world a better place rather than meekly accept the word of the more fiscally energetic" - A quote from Bruce Pascoe, An Australian Indigenous writer, teacher, farmer and activist, from the Bunurong clan, of the Kulin nation. The above quote is from his Piece in The Guardian "Teach your children to rebel. Teach your children to doubt" published on 1 June 2019.
Spirituality should fuel and empower one's activism because seeing the divinity in each other should urge us to want the best for others. The experience of oneness and unity consciousness should not be an abstract concept experienced only in the fifth dimension, but should instead be anchored firmly into everyone's physical reality and experience.

The UN has declared 2019 as the International Year for Indigenous languages. Next week between 27 May - 3 June 2019 is Reconciliation week in Australia. It's a time for the broader Australian community to reflect on their relationship with First Nations people. What I've been reflecting on is the importance that language reclamation plays in self determination. Language is used to convey thoughts, culture, beliefs, customs, traditions and history. Language is the bridge that connects us to our identity, heritage and ancestry. This week's episode is all about how language is related to self-determination and demands for self-determination at several different levels and in a number of inter-connected ways.

Being an ally to people of color involves a lot of self reflection, self education and listening. It requires one to be grounded in humility, collaboration and accountability. It means knowing and understanding that you are often coming from a position of power and privilege and that this privilege has been gained through unjust systems that continue to marginalise the very groups that you are seeking to be ally for. Privilege can be a powerful tool for either being an ally or for oppression. Be mindful of how you put yours to use.

This week, I am reading out listener's scenarios and questions on whether certain words, behaviours or situations can be perceived as racist. From sliding into DMs and asking if someone would like cream with their coffee; assuming a person can twerk or play basketball; naming your black dog after a black person and why certain people can't use the n word even though some black people still use it! The question of the week is - Yo, Is That Racist? Inspired by the podcast of a similar name!

This week, I discuss the differences between soulmates, twinflames/twinsouls and karmic relationships and the purpose of, and gift behind, each relationship....because everyone wants a twinflame but no one is willing to do the work!
If Karmic relationships were a song - it would be the whole Lemonade album by Beyonce. If Soulmate relationships were a song they would be No one Else Comes Close - Joe Thomas; Believe - Damar Jackson and All I Need to Get by - Method Man and Mary J Blige. If Twinflames were a song, they would be A Thousand Years - Christina Perri; Halo - Beyonce; At Last - Etta James and This Is Why I Love You - Major.

In this episode, I will go over all of the annoying s**t that people in the 'new age" spiritual community say and do. From appropriating yoga, blaming astrology for bad behaviour, spiritual bypassing, bashing the ego and excusing toxic behaviour in relationships under the false belief that one is in a twin flame relationship. No one is safe! But hopefully, this will cause us in the spiritual community to take a moment to self reflect and ask the very important question - How did we get here?
