Dan has been building his portfolio over the last few years with lots of mistakes and losses but a lot of great success and lessons to allow him to grow as an individual, Dan continues to build his portfolio when the right opportunities come up, but his main focus is in helping people build on solid foundations through Building and Renewable energy consultancy, Busines Coaching and online property training.

Shack, is also a creative entrepreneur, mentor and host of the Watford property investors network (pin) meeting. In 2020 he won the strategy of the year award on Property Entrepreneur for offsite construction and airspace development. He is currently in the process of shooting the first series of online production ‘What’s The Big Deal?’ which delves into large residential development schemes and the method of construction behind them.
One of Shack's main passions is to support and give back to the community. To do this he has created a social enterprise called H.O.P.E. (Haus Of Performing Excellence) which helps young people at risk and ex-offenders get training in offsite construction and self-development.

In today’s episode, Dan interviews Zoe Conning who is the Founder and Managing Director of Amana Lettings, the go-to property management company in Cheshire helping landlords invest, develop and manage anything from a 1-bed studio apartment to an 88 bed hotel conversion!
She started her property journey back in 2013 after becoming an Operations Director for a Property Development Company, loving it SO much, she dropped out of uni (sorry, Mum!) to manage over 250 tenants, whilst being on call 24/7 – which is where she fell in love with property and running a business.
In 2017, Zoe took some time away from property to gain more business experience; working in IT, Cyber Security, and Customer Services before launching Amplo Lettings alongside Matt & Scott in 2019. 2021 sees Zoe buying business partners out and becoming independent to rebrand as Amana Lettings & Property Management.
Interesting Fact:
Zoe enjoys going to the gym, studying meditation and mindset and will be found most weekends at either Sandbach FC where she plays for the women's team, or at the Etihad cheering on Man City!!

Gary Sandford has been in and around the construction industry for over 30 years, starting out as a bricklayer, then working his way through to Assistant Manager, Site Manager, Project Manager and then on to Contracts Manager and everything in between.

5 years ago Gary started investing in himself, which has proven very successful. Last year he attended Strategy Implementation Live, where he met Simon Zutshi and subsequently joined the 29th Property Mastermind Programme which has ultimately helped him move forward faster than he ever thought possible - not only in the number of deals done, and investments but in problem solving, out of the box thinking and relationship building.

Dumbass decisions and defects!
When viewing properties I see so many DUMBASS decisions being made by Landlords and I think this is because they are old school and stuck in their ways. Tenants must take responsibility too but there is defo a two way street here.
