The 5 love languages, by Dr. Gary Chapman, was a very influential book in our relationship. We read the book before we are married, and we still use the concepts from this book into our relationship on a daily basis. We talk about our individual love languages and how we attempt to fill our love tank to feel the most loved in our relationship. The 5 languages, Words of Affirmation, Acts of Service, Receiving Gifts, Quality Time and Physical Touch play a monumental role into our everyday relationships, not only with your significant other but with our closest friends, coworkers and family members. After a few days of R&R in the sunshine on the lake, our motor is full and ready to go back to being the best versions of ourselves, in order to be the best versions to each other and our family.
