We begin part one of our conversation with Maria Frahm-Arp who is a professor in the department of religion at University of Johannesburg and priest in the Johannesburg Anglican Diocese. Our topic is centred around her work in gender studies and how the different denominations of churches see the female gender. As a church we need to address and acknowledge our contribution to the gender based violence that ravages our country.
