An episode full of heart and soul and a perfect example of the mind/body/spirit connection.

Emotion & Body Code practitioner Parmelia Parham shares how this healing modality can be used to release trapped or stuck emotions from within our subconscious. This method does not require the person to 'relive' or even verbalize what needs to be worked on. It is something that is so interesting to me and can be used for both people and pets.

You'll hear an actual healing session when Permelia practices the Body Code technique for my rescue Bengal kitty who experienced trauma in her early years. That portion was a bit emotional for me and if you watch the video (linked here in the show notes), you will be able to witness the process for yourself. To see the chart of trapped emotions that Permelia was using you can go to her info pages as I was unable to attach it here.

It took a bit of courage to do this post because I'm talking about something that is very personal that I have been struggling with all my life. This however is part of why doing this podcast is so important to me. In this episode, I share how for the very first time I showed my bare arms at the gym. It may seem like the most trivial thing in the world but if you are someone who has grown up feeling shame about your body it can be a big accomplishment to get passed that.
