In this episode, we interview Seattle based singer, Ingrid DuMosch DeHaan.

Ingrid is a vocalist, vocal arranger, and voice-over artist with over 20 years of experience as a studio vocalist, demo vocalist, vocal arranger/producer, and vocalist/emcee for various local jazz and swing bands. Ingrid is a vocalist on the Kingdom Come Cast Recording, and you can learn more about Ingrid at www.reverbnation.com/ingdumoschvoice

Ingrid has had the opportunity to record vocals for a number of recording projects over the years in a variety of genres, including pop, jazz/swing, R&B, country, children's music and gospel/worship. Most recently, she has been featured on projects for Audio Network UK, an international production group whose music has been featured in major motion pictures, as well as in TV advertisements worldwide (www.audionetwork.com). She continues to record vocals for several karaoke production companies of all music genres, as well as Super Simple Learning, a children's production company based in Seattle (supersimplelearning.com).

Ingrid's forte is on-the-spot arranging and singing background vocals including harmony vocals. She has been described as a 'vocal chameleon', having the ability to blend and harmonize with almost any type of voice. "Harmonies and BGV parts are what I tend to hear first in a pop/rock/R&B song. It's actually my favorite part of the song to sing!"

Live and in person, you can find Ingrid singing with the Route 66 Big Band, the Cascadia Big Band, and the Swingtime trio in the Puget Sound area. Her recent voice-over credits include DaVita Healthcare, GetAbstract online radio program, Bosch Security Systems, the Billy Graham Association, and audio book narrations for Whole World Media Group (Nashville), and Classic Fox (England).

You can find some of her additional projects on iTunes and Amazon.com as "Ingrid DuMosch".

Bret, originally a session bass player (whose first gig in the studio was playing on one of my dad's records), first made his mark with the renowned Tube DI, the Fatboy. We have one, and it is one of my favorite things to plug my basses into.
