Always on the lookout for new music. My interests are eclectic: New Age, Dance, Jazz, Trance, Classical, Baroque, Folk, Rock. All music I upload I created and is played / arranged by me.
Another recording - trying a different mic position. Does this sound better or worse than yesterday's version?
Theme from Our Mother's House (1967) by Georges Delerue
Experimenting with recording my acoustic piano with SM58 mics and digital mixing board. Still not happy with the sound. Too harsh and just not right.
Learning more about recording my acoustic piano. This was recorded with professional condenser microphone connected to Audacity. Next will be trying for better quality audio with true stereo using two SHURE SM58 mics and 8-channel mixer. Stay tuned.
My piano cover of Truman Sleeps. I don't like the last section so I just repeated the alberti-base supported theme.
This is an electronic piano piece I wrote in 1988. I rerecorded it in July 2017 with more modern digital equipment & resources. Hope you enjoy it.
Last section, the resolution(w/o orchestra of course) of K482's slow movement which is one of the pieces I love the most of all Mozart's compositions.
Inspiration is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iwcaJUEC2pM and here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G9Ilj7F30KY How concert pianists play it so fast yet so clearly is astonishing.
I recorded this so anyone can use it as a piano accompaniment for their own singing. It exactly matches the notes and tempo of Ruth B's track.

A little bit of what I am working on right now... trying to put bass and drums to this song I wrote in 1991.
Three Part Invention No. 15 in B minor If you are familiar with Glenn Gould, you will hear his influence on this interpretation.
Me playing this very catchy invention in F+. If you are familiar with Glenn Gould, you will hear his influence on this interpretation.
Just started to work out this song on my piano and pieced together bass and drums on GarageBand. Sounds okay...
Mood is sombre today; a good day to play this piano opening to the beautiful "Heaven and Hell" by Vangelis. This was the music used in the opening title sequence of Carl Sagan's 1980 COSMOS series.
I don't have the music so I picked out the notes as best I could from this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wupToqz1e2g
Experimenting with this concerto by Bach and trying to give it a mix of classical and new age feel. Not sure I like it yet...
Me playing the amazing James Horner composed Titanic theme. Sorry if it is not exact; my arrangement and played by ear. ..
2015 version of a song I wrote in the 80s. This is just a test track to try out some effects, instruments and drums.
Another track I composed in the summer of 2015 during my "100 Days of Music" Project on Instagram.
Putting together Garageband loops that probably should not be put together: 70s keyboard loops along with modern beats. When I finished this track, it reminded me a bit of a 1970s TV show theme...
My own composition for the #100dayproject on Instagram in the Spring of 2015. I wrote this is 3 parts, the first of which was written and uploaded to IG in mid-April 2015 here: https://instagram.com/p/1VfihmtQMZ/

Playing around with Garage Band; put together this track based on Smalltown Boy by Bronski Beat. This is the best version I think of the zillions of versions I made.) Enjoy!

Lyrics
Tonight, I finally found a way for me, To meet you, and know you, To hold you, and love you, Mm-mm.
For years, I silently wished that you would see, The tears in my eyes, The hope in my eyes, Mm-mm.
Time and distance they kept you, Close but yet too far, My dreams brought us together, But fear kept me away.
Now I've found a way for me, My dream will come true, Tonight, I will finally tell you:
"You are the notes on the page; You make me sing you these words; You are the love in my song."
Song and Lyrics written July 18, 1991
Was watching the movie "Immortals" in the background; the part near the end when Acamas has his visions of the clash of Titans and the Gods in the sky inspired the music.
Wrote in March 2012 while on vacation in Myrtle Beach. I always thought that this would work well as a TV show theme.... but perhaps a TV show from the 80s
