The BET Awards were last week and some things have changed, to say the least (it was ghetto asf this year). But anyways, this change inspired me to talk about how other things in pop culture are changing as the years go on. A bit of a nostalgia moment if you will.
I just wrapped up my first year at The University of Georgia so I thought it would be really cutesie to make a "First-Year College Starter Pack Kit". I hope you gain a thing or twooooo.
ALSO! Something I forgot to mention: These college men are dirty asf and 85 percent of what comes out of their mouths are lies so keep that in mind before u get got. (This is the simplified version; perhaps I'll make a part 2? idk tbh, ya'll know I be on absent dad timing)
Hey friends, long time no see lol. This episode is me reflecting on what actions and mannerisms from 2022 I want to get rid of and what actions and mannerisms I want to gain in 2023. (This is lowkey inaccurate because I've already curated this list in early November, but for the sake of the 'new year new me' mindset we are going to act like I came up with these on Dec. 31st). Enjoy!
Wishing a blessed 2023 for all of us :)
Rest in power to all the victims, this never should have happened.
I also kind of jumble my words toward the end bc talking is hard
I'm backkkkk
No, but fr enjoy this casual episode baes! (If you don't care abt my life the social media part starts at about 6 minutes in:))
It's a war on women, but you knew that already.
Excuse the foggy audio Idk why it's doing that
First and foremost I just want to start by saying I love Jesus<3. In today's episode, we are diving into the different aspects of Christianity and how toxic it can be.
Also, I wanted to explain the first point of what I was talking about. When I talk about some of the teachings in the bible I am speaking about how some followers pick and choose to interpret different ones if that makes sense. Idk I really just be talking so I wanted to clarify:)
Rest in Power to the innocent lives lost, gone way too soon. We need to change something.
In today's episode, we are diving into the infamous trial that has taken social media by storm; The Johnny Depp vs. Amber Heard Trial. Regardless of whatever side you are on, invalidating someone's potential experience with domestic abuse is never okay:)
It was my last official day of high school last week so it is only right I speak about the complete sh*t show it was and what I would do over if I could:)
This is basically me unpacking my involuntary homebody trauma and what that has done to my anxiety...enjoy!
If you heard about this year's Oscars you know the events that took place and the one main headline that took the cake: Will Smith slapping Chris Rock on public television. Today, we are debriefing said events. Enjoy!
In this week's episode, we are diving into the college admission process and how problematic it is. Excuse how short and chaotic this one is, the world is def out to get me.
we all have unpopular opinions and this week I'm sharing some of mine. Tbh, this is just 15 mins of me ranting.
Welcome to 2 cents with Mo!! I plan on basically giving my "2 cents" on pop culture, politics, personal stories, mental health, and so much more! More episodes to come:)
