The mission of Surprised By Jesus is to reveal the beauty of the person of Jesus Christ by looking more closely at the surprising way he lived his life and the surprising way he can impact us day in and day out.
We know the stories, now it's time to dig deeper and allow ourselves to be Surprised By Jesus!
Jesus mentions multiple times that we should be like a child! It seems to have surprised the disciples, so maybe it can surprise us as well.
Jesus surprises with his response to Andrew and Philip, in telling us to hate our lives, and in being troubled with the coming of his hour!
Jesus says He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. It's our time to contemplate this and listen to how He may be calling us to follow.
Jesus does the unthinkable in raising Lazarus from the dead but what else might we learn about Jesus in this story they we maybe didn't catch before.
