This ACE workshop will equip and encourage us both biblically and practically for conversations about death and dying within our families and community. Jessica Hahne, a psychologist and ResCom member, will help to facilitate this workshop.
At this ACE Second Saturday workshop we'll explore the layers of conversations that happen and don't happen within a marriage. Couples therapist Liz Colizza will guide us in emotionally "showing up" differently so that your marriage conversations open the door for more connection and intimacy.
Uncertainty and change lay heavy in the air. In previous eras, making sense of cultural change and coping with the uncertainties of life frequently led to thinking about God, to discerning what He might be doing in our world, and to deepening our commitment to faith in Him. But in our time, a time of palpable uncertainty brought powerfully home to us all by the challenges of pandemics and polarization, we are seeing record numbers leave the Church and abandon Christian faith. What’s going on with religion in America? How are we to think about deconstruction? Join us as we take time to consider these things together with Rev. Dr. Mark Ryan.
