Connecting Badgers aims to enhance learning and student success by promoting, protecting & restoring mental health while acknowledging that stigma & health disparities exist & can be barriers to care. We provide students with evidence based tips & tools grounded from feminist & trauma informed approaches to increase mental health literacy which is the knowledge & beliefs about mental health concerns that aid in recognition, management & prevention.
Today we are highlighting an exciting mental health resource, Uwill. Uwill provides students with access to a therapist of their choice via the mode of their choice – video, phone, chat or messaging. We talk with Beth Adamski, Assistant Director at MHS and one of the primary liaisons to Uwill at MHS, to learn more about this resource for students.
