Leading up to Christmas, our sermon series will be focused on Advent. The advent season is celebrating the faithfulness of God's fulfilled promise to send the promised Messiah. We remind ourselves of God's past faithfulness so that we can wait in anticipation for Jesus coming back again.
1 Corinthians is a book that is all about spiritual maturity. In many ways, the ancient city of Corinth had modern problems similar to the issues that students face today. Paul writes this letter to the church in Corinth to encourage the Corinthians to grow in their spiritual maturity. This is immediately applicable student's lives and who call God calls them to be.
