Today is my Aunt's birthday and having her on my heart had me thinking back to the days when I was a kid and she would bring me to their house and on family vacations to babysit my younger cousins. They were some of the best times of my young life and helped to shape the way that I saw my life shaping up. For that, I am forever grateful. Happy Birthday Aunt Myrna.

On this clip, I share the story of how my impulsiveness led me to marry hastily and why that's not a good idea. I am still a firm believer in the institution of marriage. There are some who met and married in a short amount of time and remain married years later. Others who dated forever before marrying only to divorce a few years in. Divorce and breakups are as unique as your own fingerprint and are impossible to predict.
One thing that is hugely important is recognizing your motivation behind short engagements and being frank about the consequences of such.
