Submarine ships allow for people to operate beneath the ocean's surface lavel. It costs time, labor, fuel, and materials to make this possible because we are not designed to be there. Orcas are the ocean's most powerful predator, yet if an orca finds itself beached, it is completely helpless, just as we are under water. When you operate within the authority given to you, nothing can stop you. But when you operate outside of your authority, anything can exhaust you compltely. We are given the freedom by God to operate under His authority, His Will. Are you living under the Kingdom authority?
Provisions are things we think about in preparation for a task, challenge, or season ahead. We pack, prepare, stock, make sure to have the necessary provisions for what's coming. God's provision a little different than our short term understanding. When we agree with God's vision and choose to obey and follow the Holy Spirit, we are aligned and he is "pro" for the vision. He provides for us not only in our daily needs, but setting up and providing for our entire future so that we are set up for success as we trust in Him. How can you see God's provisions preparing in your life?
Everyone has a strategy for everything, even if that is improvising. God's strategy for building the Kingdom is the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit took the place of Jesus with us on earth after His Ascension. When we are filled with the Holy Spirit, we operate completely the way that God has intended. When we are close with the Holy Spirit, we are obedient to God's will, building the Kingdom. How can you fit into God's strategy this week?
Pride and humility go hand in hand. The opposite of pride is humility. Ultimately, pride is what keeps us from not operating in God's Spirit. We want to live our way, to follow our desires. The base of humility is putting aside our pride and letting God be in command of our life. How can you walk in God's humility this week?
Faith is simply defined as having trust in something. Whenever we pray, we are requesting something from God, choosing to believe that He will then fulfill that request. God wants for us to trust that He will follow through with His promises and what He's spoken to us. God wants our trust to be in Him, that we will have faith in Him. How do you need to trust God in your life?
Appearances are not always what they seem to be. God doesn't want us to live for Him only on the outside. He Doesn't want us to perform and only appear to be good. God wants for us to be in communion; in relation with Him. He desires for us to spend time with Him and leave the world behind for Him. God's essentials in our relationship are simply to be with Him and be committed to Him. How do you need to come back to the essentials in your relationship with God?
Many people prepare for storms as they come. Stock water, food, toiletries and necessities to live in the case of emergency. Parents prepare for children and everything that they will need to be taken care of. God wants to prepare our lives for the things He has for us. All He needs us to do is to say "yes". How is God trying to prepare you for a new season?
Wisdom is not something that is guaranteed with age, experience, perspective, or circumstance. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. Once we respect God's position in our lives and we seek Him and His presence, we then will receive wisdom. Living out our lives in God's plan, the way He intends us to live will inpart wisdom in us as we learn His ways and desires for our lives. How have you mistaken wisdom recently?
Rebuke and Discipline are words that often carry a very negative connotation to them, especially in today's Christian world. We hear these words as all powerful, condemning forces. But this is not the way that God desires to or actually carries out these actions. God desires for His views to become ours. And so we then receive correction, perfectly, so that we can be more like Him as long as we truly pursue Him. How is God trying to correct you in your daily life?
"Forgiveness will always be difficult when we elevate our sense of judgement over God's" - Ps. Jeremy Louison. Many times in life, we find God's forgiveness and mercy hard to believe. We make mistakes, choices we regret, things we believe we can never take back. We find it easier to forgive other people over ourselves for our own regrets. But God's forgiveness is so much greater than anything we could ever imagine. What do you need to remind yourself that God forgives you for so you can forgive yourself?
Join the conversation as Pastor Jeremy and church members Tomisha, Antonio, and Stephanie sit down to talk through their experiences being Black within the context of the church.
Our hope is that this conversation sheds light on the experiences and common misconceptions around African American church culture.

God often reveals Himself to us in strange ways. He also reveals Himself amidst our storms, struggles and problematic situations without making Himself apparent in the moment. This week, Pastor Jeremy brings a word on Jesus' resurrection revealed to two unknowing individuals traveling home from Jerusalem. How has God revealed Himself amidst your storms?
We as believers are called outside of an Orphan mindset, where we focus on ourselves and how we can survive in life. But our Calling is to Sonship under the Father. This week, Pastor Jeremy gives a powerful sermon on our identity as believers in Christ Jesus. How can you move out of the Orphan mentality?
In today's world dominated by Social Media, we continuously find more and more life hacks to solve a problem faster, cheaper, and more independently than ever. However, there is no hack in giving your life to God and choosing to follow Him. How will you dive into following God in 2023?
On this special Christmas Eve night, Pastor Jeremy brings a powerful message on the life of Jesus and His impact when He first arrived to dwell among Man. How has Jesus impacted your life this year?
For the fourth week of Advent, Pastor Jeremy speaks on the definition of Love: God. He loves us unconditionally, personally, sacrificially, and powerfully. Has this reflection on Advent been beneficial for you this holiday season?
In the 3rd week of Advent, Pastor Jeremy speaks on the Joy that we find in Jesus Christ. His whole life was devoted to and around bringing man-kind joy by restoring the relationship between us and the Father, that we no longer have to clean up our presence in order to be in His presence
In the 2nd week of Advent, Pastor Jeremy speaks on the peace that God brings. His presence, His comfort, His existence is meant to bring us peace as we trust in Him. There will be troubles in life, but as we rely on God, we are comforted and can rest knowing that we are in His hands
Life often brings all sorts of troubles as we go along. We look to different entities for glimpses of hope to help pull us through. The only issue with this is hope coming from man doesn't last, it changes. But if we put our hope in Jesus, He never changes. He is always with us and looking to help us and guide us through life. How can you put your hope in Jesus?
God calls for us to steward that of which we are given. Whether this is a job, a car, a home, or people, we are called to take care of that which is trusted to us. How well do you care for the things God has trusted unto you?
God desires for us to be obedient to Him. However, the world tells us that obedience to God should be worry free, feel good/satisfying, and hassle free. But what God truly desires for us in our obedience is simply to follow Him with everything we have. It won't always be hassle free, it will be difficult, but we are to put our desires of the flesh to death (deny our selfish ways and replace it with God's Will). How is God calling you to be obedient?
Have you ever wrestled with a sibling, whether innocently or provoked? Have you ever tossed an idea for an aspiration back and forth for days on end? Sometimes, you just need to wrestle. In fact, God calls us to wrestle with Him; not fighting against Him, but to go through a struggle together. God wants for us to rely on Him and, in doing so, learn how we can lean on Him through struggles. How are you wrestling with God?
Would you take a test without studying at all? Would you cook a meal without knowing the ingredients? Sometimes before God can fulfill what He has for your life, you need to prepare for what's in store for you. This week, pastor Jeremy brings a message about preparations for what God has for our lives
We often find ourselves drifting away from God. The hard thing to remember is that we are always the ones wandering away. Today, Pastor Jeremy brings a message about how we can correct our course and focus ourselves back on God. How do you notice that you are beginning to wander and drift?
God tells us numerous times that He will never leave us. He will always be there waiting for us whenever we stray away from Him. This week, Jerry brings an incredible message about how we can close the gap whenever we stray away from God, even in the smallest of decisions. How can you take a step closer to God this week?
How you guard your heart is a showcase of how you value yourself. You only guard what you value. God wants us to guard our hearts from things that don't reflect Him because He values us and cares about us. How can you guard your heart and feel God's value of you?
In recent decades, our lives have gotten busier and busier, to the point where now we have developed a new mentality: Fomo, or the Fear of Missing Out. We take every single opportunity that comes to us, whether we have the time or not. But God wants for us to slow down and follow along with His pace - unrushed. Time does not command God, so all things happen according to His time. How can you slow down and follow along to God's pace?
God calls us to do life together. A part of living together in community is seeking reconciliation for our brothers and sisters around us, including confessing when we've been in the wrong. Not many people like to do admit that they aren't right or doing something correct, but God desires for us to show the same grace and love that He first showed us. How can you reconcile with someone this week?
God has done some incredible things with Pioneer Church in downtown Memphis, TN. Join us in the celebration of what God has done and will continue to do through His church!
The city of Memphis has had a rough week, to put it lightly. This week, Pastor Jeremy leads us in the discussion that the Church needs to prayer and that prayer is the way to combat these difficult times and tragedies. Join us as we give our city back to God to work out His will for the city of Memphis
The Gospel is what separates the belief of Christianity from Judaism - the belief that Jesus was sent to die for our Sins to bring us back in communion with the Father so we can be with him, unseparated and unrestrained. But there's one thing more: Who is the Gospel for? Who does it impact? Who is God truly reaching out to?
Faith is something that's referenced all over the Bible - to put our trust in God that He will act out His Will in our lives. Faith and belief in God is the weapon of Believers to stave off evil and to push onward in our lives. What is your faith in God and His Will?
This week, Pastor Doug Hon of Main Street Church brings an extraordinary message about the sheer love that God has for us
This week, Dr John Johnson brings a powerful message about the perspective that God has for us and how we can align ourselves with His vision and view of us to bring a more meaningful life to honor the Father
This week, Pastor Will Ceaser brings a powerful message of the power of our own testimonies
God knows and understands what it's like to struggle. While Jesus was on earth, as he was fully God, he was also fully man. He mourned the death of his friends. He was rejected by the synagogues as a heretic. He was betrayed by his friends. God knows and understands where you are and how you feel. But what truly matters is how we press into Him.
Saul was a murderer who killed and prosecuted Christians for the sake of spreading blasphemy of the Faith with Jesus being the Son of God. But because of one person's obedience, he was also one of the most influential Christians who lived in the early days of the Church after his conversion and encounter with the Holy Spirit. God only wants our obedience and our love. This will allow us to trust Him fully in where He calls us to go and what He calls us to do. Will you be obedient?
We can make idols out of anything. Money, people, substances, items, can all become idols if we're not careful. This week, Cody brings a fantastic message about idols and how we can reprogram our minds to move away from leaning on these things for and back into God for our daily comforts. What do you serve as an unintentional idol?
Pastor Jeremy is out of town in Houston TX, and so today, the lovely Shell Waller stepped up to give a wonderful sermon of God's overwhelming love. He gives us so many chances, even when we clearly don't deserve it. He's is the ultimate example of love
A testimony is a powerful thing. Whether to prove innocence or to proclaim where we've come from, they can inspire greatness in others. This week, Pastor Jeremy speaks on the power our testimonies have, no matter how great. What's yours?
Nowadays, it's so easy and quick to offend people. But because our God sees us as his children, He does not become offended so quickly. This week, Pastor Jeremy brings a powerful message on the love God shows for us
Often times, people want God to show up and show out in a big way in their life. Major breakthroughs, immediate freedoms of habitual sin, etc. However, God enjoys leaving clues to His presence, rather than coming in and shattering our whole worldview. Can you see the fingerprints that He is leaving in your life?

Happy Easter from Pioneer Church! This week, Pastor Jeremy brings a message about the goal and intention behind Jesus' sacrifice that He paid so that we can once again be in communion with the Father and Holy Spirit
Too often, we dwell on the past and have a nostalgia filter that distorts how situations actually were. We see them as good and even fantasize about going back, but this causes us not to be able to look to the present and future and see what God is doing and where He wants us to go. Are you staying caught up in the past?
Do you carry the baggage and burdens of your past with you through your everyday life? God wants to set you free from your past, make you new, and shape you into a new person. Will you trust Him to leave your old bags behind and start with new luggage?

"Plenish" is an old word that means "to fill", making "replenish" "to fill again". Life has many ways of draining us of energy, in physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual. How do you need God to Replenish you?

Throughout the Bible, we see the fall, futility, and imperfection of Man. But throughout that same Bible, we see the hope that is in Jesus and how God sought to redeem us and reconcile with Him. He has many names that bring hope to Man, and each of those names has a specific meaning and implication. What's your name of Hope?

When pilots fly, they have an instrument that measures the degrees of variance of their destination. If they are left unchecked by 1 or 2 degrees, they could be off course by 200 miles. Are you checking in with God’s instruments to stay on course to your destination?
We often try to change God into our view of Him rather than what the Bible says about Him. The only way you can truly know what God is like is to have a relationship with the Unchanging God

The story of David and Goliath. David's relationship with God and experience of protecting his flock helped him to have utmost confidence in God's good will for him, even facing off against a giant that the trained Israelite warriors were terrified to fight against. Having a relationship with God gives us experience with Him and His presence that gives us confidence that He will carry us through any and every storm of life
For so long, many of us have treated God's Will as if it's a Wheel of Fortune, or we try to figure out how we can make God's Will work in our favor as we desire. But this is simply not so. God's Will isn't something we need to "figure out", but something that we need simply to be obedient to
