God's Word is nothing less than His love letter to mankind. To know it, teach it, and even more to follow it, is my passion. Here you will find messages I have shared over the years. Life presents us with plenty of opportunities for confusion. It is in these moments that we can either face them on our own, or allow our faith to work, as we trust God for the answers and the peace we need.James 1:5-8 provides us a trusted roadmap to experience wisdom in times of confusion.

It's no secret our world has become increasingly more negative. As followers of Jesus, we must be diligent to not be sucked into it. If we are not, it will get all over us and we will begin to look more and more like the world, and less and less like Jesus.

We live in a non-stop world. We are bombarded by deadlines, responsibilities, and distractions. Finding time to stop and rest is not easy, but it is necessary. We live in an ungrateful world. As followers of Jesus we are called to live lives of gratitude. The secret lies in recognizing Him in all circumstances of life. Psalm 107 walks us through Israel's journey of recognizing Him through the ups and downs of their experience. This chapter answers the question of how to be grateful in an ungrateful world.

All of us mess up at times, sometimes really big. The beautiful thing is God delights in taking broken lives and restoring them to their original purpose. 2 Chronicles 33:1-17 tells the amazing story of King Manasseh. Manasseh made a major mess of his life, yet through God's grace he experienced restoration and freedom. My friend Sam Stuckey and I had the privilege of sharing this amazing story and how it relates to our lives.

Everyone likes to win. There is something about winning that just feels good, even right. When it comes to life, faith and following Jesus, everyone desires to be victorious. Hebrews 12:1-2 gives us clear direction on how it is achieved.

When we pray we don't always get the results we are hoping for. Sometimes God's answer is, yes. Other times it is, no, or not yet. When we pray according to God's will, the answer is always, yes!
