On The Week in Brand Storytelling, Mike and Clare discuss two campaigns that are striving to make their brands relevant to contemporary audiences, The first is a collaboration between Smiling Mind, one of Australia’s biggest mental health not-for-profits, and BIC, yes, that pen company. The campaign is attempting to leverage the concept of mindfulness through creativity, incorporating niche artists such as Melbourne's own, Yan Yan Candy Ng.

The second campaign is from Dettol which is titled, “Helping Protect What We Love Since 1933”. The disinfectant brand is trying to push the point that without their product, we would be without the things that mean the most to us.

It comes from The Humane Society of the United States and features director, Taika Waititi. It aims to raise awareness about the harmful effects of cosmetic testing on animals. The second is also a short film which is called Carebonara: The Origins of Carbonara. The piece is from the pasta company, Barilla.
