This is a podcast of Bible teachings. A main focus of the podcast is the exalted position that God has given His word and that it should have in the life of every Christian. Emphasis is placed on the importance of every Christian reading the Bible a lot. As seen from the book of Jeremiah, the Word is to be the joy and rejoicing of our heart, not other things.
Episode 30. The people we choose to be friends with have a huge impact on our life. It's important to walk with wise people rather than fools.
Episode 28. Covers some of the great Scriptures in the book of Proverbs about emotions. It is important to rule our spirit and be slow to anger.
Episode 27. Covers the inspiring record of King Josiah turning Judah from idolatry to God. Shows the huge impact that one person taking a mighty stand on God's Word can have.
Episode 26. What is in our heart has a big impact on all of our life. Therefore, we should watch over our heart with great diligence.
Episode 25. As we stand on God's Word in the midst of afflictions and temptations, we become fully mature and fully equipped. Therefore, we can actually be thankful for tribulation.
Episode 24. Thanks to Jesus Christ, we can live lives of great freedom. We can be free from bondage to sin and the fear of death.
Episode 23. All the fullness of the divine nature dwells in Christ. Every Christian has Christ in them and is completely filled in him.
Episode 22. We are to preach the gospel concerning Christ at all times and to all people. God doesn't want anyone to perish, He wants all people to be saved.
Episode 21. An examination of more great benefits that God's Word tells us the fear of the Lord brings.
Episode 20. Verses from Proverbs about the fear of the Lord. Shows that having a great respect for God is very important and produces great benefits.
Episode 19. The books of Timothy and Jeremiah show that we can stand in the midst of evil circumstances by holding onto God's Word and faithfully speaking it.
Episode 18. Some of what God planned to do he kept a secret until after Jesus Christ's resurrection and after the day of Pentecost. If the devil had known what God was planning, he would not have crucified Jesus Christ.
Episode 17. Proverbs and Ecclesiastes tell of great benefits that wisdom brings. This episode covers those passages.
Episode 16. The book of Proverbs reveals much about the great benefits that diligence produces, contrasted with the bad results that laziness produces. Diligence is a great key to success.
Episode 15. When God originally created man, He gave him a job to do. Working can help our mind to be at peace. This life is short, so let's give our all in the work that we do.
Episode 14. This episode covers the importance of thankfulness. Giving thanks is to dominate all aspects of our life.
Episode 13. God tells us to rejoice in the Lord always. Having a merry heart is very important for our health and enjoyment of life. From God's Word we can see how to always have a merry heart, even in the midst of great tribulation.
Episode 12. A teaching on speaking in tongues. Speaking in tongues produces great benefit so let's be diligent to do it a lot.
Episode 11. Does baptism always involve water? Not necessarily. This episode carefully examines some of what the Scriptures say about baptism.
Episode 9. It is by thinking on the things that we have by the new spirit nature that we can have life and peace. It is by holding it in our minds and walking in it that we will get to enjoy the fruits of the spirit. We are to do God's Word, not just hear it and forget it. Then we will be mature and able to handle the strong meat.
Episode 8. The light of God's Word can cleanse our hearts and minds, getting rid of the evil darkness that bothers us. It can transform us. If we will hold God's words in our minds and walk out on them.
Episode 7. A consideration of how a knowledge of our future glory can and should have a huge and wonderful impact on our lives right now.
Episode 6. The Scriptures clearly tell us that Jesus Christ is going to descend from heaven and gather us unto himself, whether we are alive or dead at that time. Knowing that, we don't need to be held in bondage by fear of death.
Episode 5. Looks at more of what will happen after Jesus Christ returns. Shows that God will bring justice and that there are rewards available.
Episode 4. Looks at what God has revealed in His Word about the future glory Christians will enjoy after Jesus Christ returns.
Episode 3. Shows from the Scriptures that righteousness and salvation are obtained by believing and grace, not by works.
Episode 2. Shows from the Scriptures why it is very important for every Christian to know God's Word(the Bible) very well. Explains why the Bible is vital to the Christian life.
Episode 1. God has exalted His Word above all His name, so we should esteem it very highly. We should read it a lot and get it in our hearts. When we do, it will do great things for us.
