Why should I still believe in good? Why should I believe there can be redemption at this point? Can this situation ever get better? These are fear breeding questions that have thrived in the hearts of many of us this season, and understandably so. I have bad news and good news. The bad news is that these questions never truly cease as long as we’re on earth. The good news is that God has provided a solid method for us to deal with this. On this final episode of the faith series, The Pathfinder's Light is shed on anchoring your faith to God's personality-as one who never fails. God is sempiternally faithful. That's who He is. But in order to make us faithful, He tests our resolve with situations that seem to defy our understanding. Only when we are able to hold on to our trust in His nature and personality, are we able to pass such tests.
Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. But where Liberty is, there has to be wisdom;the wisdom to accurately discern God's will and do it by His grace. Our liberty is confined to this wisdom as we grow in Christ. And understanding this truth is pivotal to finding rest, trusting and obeying God. In this episode, The Pathfinder's Light is shed on the wisdom of faith!
Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. By faith, we'll take down wrong systems and set up the systems of God. But first, we have to prevail over wrong mindsets. This is the first episode in a series on Faith; that highlights the need for us to step out of the confines of our beliefs and step into God's beliefs.
They creep up on people insidiously and take them down instantly. Idols, that's what they are. Those little things that you exalt above the throne of God in your life. Those little things that can make you forgo God's will because of the promises they offer. Adam(the first man), forwent God's will and consequently his dominion rights, when he idolized his wife. Idols have never been good companions and never will be. In this episode, The Pathfinder's Light is shed on idolatry and the way to destroy idols.
Behold what manner of privilege we have that we can be called friends of God. Yes. That's one of the privileges that grace affords us;friendship with the Father of lights. In this episode, The Pathfinder's Light is shed on building a loyal relationship with God and the characteristics of a friend of God.
The way in which an achievement is made is just as important to God as the achievement itself. God values due process. It makes Him happy when we do things the way He wants;cos that's the only way(His way) that will show His glory to the principalities and powers and to humanity. In this episode, The Pathfinder's Light is shed on how a character of obedience is built through perseverance; and how that character has the capacity to hold firm despite any opposition.
Having values is a great way of personalizing the truths of the bible and relating them to our unique lives. In this episode, I shed light on the importance of having values; and how they can help you become valuable to God.
It's possible to see others the way God sees them. Especially when you remember that God only forgives your trespasses as you forgive others.lol. Seriously, though, Jesus gave a parable of a man who, after he was forgiven of his large debts by his master, went to fight with a debtor of his who owed him little. And Jesus said that just the same way the master of that servant threw him in jail, that is how Our Heavenly father will do to us if each of us do not forgive our offenders from our hearts. It's something to meditate upon whenever you consider holding a grudge. Is this grudge worth my forgiveness?
As humans, we take actions based on our understanding of the world around us. What if I told you your understanding is severely limited? And that there is a wisdom that transcends the laws seemingly keeping nature intact. It is the wisdom that willed nature into being. In this episode, I explain how to gain access to that wisdom, always; and to live life in accordance with a superior understanding;an understanding that birthed nature-Spiritual realities.
Jesus-the author and finisher of our faith-was able to run His race with endurance because He threw in His lot with God. He was empowered by His Hope of a reward, to run steadfastly, despising the shame and contradiction of sinners, and He attained a name above every other name by which we can be saved! In this episode, I describe a way to run your race on earth with patience and endurance whilst being assured of security and help all through, in the secret place of the Most high.
A heart of strong belief cannot be fazed by anything. That is not to say that a heart of faith doesn't sometimes experience fear, anxiety and distress; but rather that, through it all, a heart of faith is able to stand secure and firmly in the hope of glory, because a heart of faith is one that trusts God and everything that His Spirit offers. In this episode, I describe a way which is available to us by the Spirit to always defeat unbelief which sneaks up on us through the devil's wiles.
In this concluding episode of "Walking in the Spirit" series, I explain how the gifts of the Spirit should be used, such that the story on God's mind concerning your life and the lives of others, is accurately told. And in the end, by walking in the power of God daily in love, Jesus is proclaimed as Lord!
The life of Christ in us will forever be our most powerful tool of evangelism. Because it includes everything from professing Him with your mouth to confessing Him through your actions and inactions. This episode opens up to the listener, ways to express that life whilst being led by His Spirit!
Walking in the Spirit as a believer is the prescribed way of life. As Spiritual beings, the Holy Spirit is the only one who can give us the necessary leadership to navigate the environment of the Spirit successfully. This is the first in a series of episodes in which I'll discuss how to be led of the Holy Spirit in your walk through life
The Holy Spirit is a promise to everyone who believes in King Jesus. He's an endless river of beautiful spiritual realities. He's the Helper. And He's eager to ravish the hearts of everyone who receives Him with His unfailing love. This episode describes how He came and took over my life and endued me with power from on High.
