TO THE SENDING ALLIANCE OF CHURCHES
Founded in 2020, the Ecclesia Equipping Center is a multi-ethnic, multi-generational apostolic assembly of believers who are learning to live foundationally on Ephesians 2, Made Alive in Christ, and Ephesians 4, Unity and Maturity in the Body of Christ. They are located in Kansas City, Kansas.
They believe in the fivefold ministry and they are training to help Equippers (men, women, and youth) to be activated in their individual gifts and callings, prepared for earthly Kingdom assignments. They are Holy Spirit led and have vital prayer and intercession ministry teams.
Above Beyond Youth Ministry occurs weekly on Sundays with a focus on Identity in Christ. The Standard is a monthly Zoom Meeting (fierce faith-based conversations) among millennials.
Pastor Gina Houston is a visionary leader called by God to be a bridgebuilder for collaborative Kingdom purposes. She is the founder of the church, the Ecclesia Equipping Center, in Kansas City, Kansas. Her mission is: “Proclaiming the Word of God and teaching about the Lord Jesus Christ with all boldness and without hindrance.” (Acts 28:31) She serves as overseer of Kansas City Purpose and Destiny; a discipleship and deliverance training program for diligent seekers.
The Ecclesia Equipping Center has reputable ministry leaders who champion life transformation through coaching, counseling, and mentoring, using biblical principles. They have an established and ongoing list of Covenant Partners they pray for and with. They are currently developing outreach ministry that interfaces with the underserved and the unsheltered.

1. Sarai’s Barrenness and Hagar Given to Abram
- Context: Sarai is unable to bear children, so she proposes that Abram have a child by her Egyptian maidservant, Hagar.

- “Sarai said to Abram, ‘Behold now, the LORD has prevented me from bearing children. Go in to my servant; it may be that I shall obtain children by her.’” (Genesis 16:2)
- Abram consents, and Hagar conceives. (Gen 16:1–4
2. Conflict and Hagar’s Flight
- Rising Tension: Once Hagar knows she is pregnant, she “regards her mistress with contempt,” and Sarai treats her harshly.

Hagar Flees:
- “Then Sarai said to Abram, ‘May the wrong done me be on you! I gave my servant to your embrace, and when she saw that she had conceived, she looked on me with contempt. …’ So Abram said to Sarai, ‘Behold, your servant is in your power; do to her as you please.’” (Gen 16:5–6)
- Hagar escapes into the wilderness of Shur. (Gen 16:7)
3. Divine Encounter at the Spring

Angel’s Promise: At a desert spring, the Angel of the LORD finds Hagar and commands her to return, promising her numerous offspring through the child she will bear:
- “I will surely multiply your offspring so that they cannot be numbered for multitude.” (Gen 16:10)
- Naming of “Ishmael”: Hagar is told to name her son Ishmael, “because the LORD has listened to your affliction.” (Gen 16:11–12)
- Outcome: Hagar calls the well “Beer‑lahai‑roi,” “the well of the Living One who sees me.” (Gen 16:13–14)
- Return: Hagar goes back and gives birth to Ishmael when Abram is eighty‐six. (Gen 16:15–16)
4. Isaac’s Birth and Ishmael’s Mocking
- Fulfillment of God’s Promise to Abraham: In their old age, Abraham and Sarah miraculously conceive and bear Isaac. (Gen 21:1–7)

Jealous Conflict: When Sarah sees Ishmael “playing” (often understood as mocking) with Isaac, she demands that Abraham cast out Hagar and her son.
- “Cast out this slave woman with her son, for the son of this slave woman shall not be heir with my son Isaac.” (Gen 21:10)
5. Hagar and Ishmael Sent Away
- Provision and Departure: God reassures Abraham, who gives Hagar “bread and a skin of water” and sends her into the wilderness of Beersheba. (Gen 21:14)
- Despair and Divine Rescue: When their water is spent and Ishmael is fainting, Hagar places him under a bush and weeps. The Angel of God calls to her, comforts her, and reveals a spring of water. God reiterates His promise that Ishmael too will become a great nation. (Gen 21:15–19)
6. Ishmael’s Growth
- Life in the Wilderness: Ishmael grows up, becomes an archer, marries an Egyptian woman, and settles in the Wilderness of Paran. His twelve sons become tribal princes. (Gen 21:20–21; Gen 25:12–18)

Empower Her Prayer Ministry - Host Pastor Nina Brown
Pastor Nina Brown is a woman after God’s own heart. In February 1988, she accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior and was baptized at Berean Missionary Baptist Church (Brooklyn, NY) by the late Reverend Gus Roman
Life wasn’t easy for her. In fact, there were some difficult times which propelled her to passionately pursue the Lord with her whole heart.
It was her desire to grow in Christ that led her to Brooklyn Tabernacle in Brooklyn, NY, under the leadership of Pastor Jim Cymbala. After relocating to Staten Island, NY she became a member at International Christian Center, where she served from 2001-2014 as an intercessor, Alter Worker, Pastor’s Prayer Partner and Bridge Group leader, under the leadership of Pastor Russell Hodges and Pastor Ronald Squibb.
In 2013, she successfully completed the prescribed program of study for level one of the Berean School of the Bible Ministries Studies Program. It was the same year that the Lord granted her favor and led her into retirement from the New York City Police Department as a Detective Second Grade. She fondly remembers promising the Lord that after retirement she would dedicate her time to ministry. The Lord allowed her to sit home for a year and that he lovingly reminded her of her promise.
It wasn’t long after that, when the Lord led her to Richmond Christian Church located I Staten Island, NY, where Pastor Teddy Otobo-Sheriff is the Senior Pastor. In 2016 Pastor Teddy Otobo-Sheriff appointed her to serve as the Associate Pastor at Richmond Christian Church where she also served as Director of Children’s Ministry and oversaw the Prayer Team. She is a member of Virtuous Women’s, Rhema Prayer Ministries, My Roses of Sharon Ministry.
Pastor Nina, as she is affectionately called, is the founder of Empower Her Prayer Ministry. It is through intercessory prayer, the infallible word of God and the power of the Holy Spirit that women are being empowered, healed, delivered and set free in Jesus name.
Family is important to her She is happily married to her best friend Daniel, who fully supports her and the call upon her life to ministry. Together they have a family of three sons. Suresh, Jerrell, and Jarrad. They are the proud grandparents of four grandchildren Jullian. Wyatt, Natalie and IvyJade.
Pastor Nina Brown recognizes that the hand of God has always been upon her life. When she thinks back, she knows that her help comes from the Lord. She gives all praise and honor to him.

Anchor Her is a faith-centered nonprofit based in the Greater Kansas City. Our mission is to embrace, empower and ignite women impacted by incarceration, domestic violence, and addiction.
We accomplish this mission by:
- Transitional Coaching: One on one support and advocacy for women that are getting out of incarceration and/or for women that want to live a life free from addiction.
- Practical Resources: Connection/referral to transitional housing, treatment centers, hygiene, food, clothing, and furniture.
- Anchor Her Support Group: A safe and compassionate place where women can drop anchor while they transition.

Pastor Antonio Allen is a native Detroiter mainly from the southeast side of Detroit. Antonio was ordained as a minister of the gospel in July of 1999 in Springfield, Virginia by the late Archbishop H.M. Harris.
Antonio is married to Angela Allen who he first met in high school. Together they founded A.I.M. which is the acronym for Allen Impact Ministries. This ministry currently takes place every Saturday morning on Detroit local station 1340 AM and 96.7 FM as well as Facebook live.

FAV&Co. is a multi-cultural movement designed to empower middle aged to senior women, with new levels of encouragement by presenting an uplifting, revealing, and restoring glance into our ultimate purpose during our season of change.
We will discuss all manner of topics with our guests, generally authorities in their field, that are relevant to mature women over the age of 50. We are particularly interested in bringing hope to those that are feeling that their best days are behind them. Additionally, we look to provide resource information in those areas to aid and assist women in living their best lives now.
We shall explore subjects such as: family, diet, fitness, health and wellness, finances, loneliness, travel, anger issues, dating, just to name a few, everything is on the table…we like to “keep it 100”, as the young people say. One of our future endeavors is to present a resource bank that provides up-to-date follow-up information for further exploration.
FAV&Co. is designed to provide pertinent information to all women, regardless to their religious persuasion. We will be utilizing biblical principles while depending wholly upon the precious anointing of the Lord to bring encouragement to all. Through this labour of love, we seek to witness yokes being destroyed and burdens being removed.

I first became aware of binaural beats in 2018 as a relief from my tinnitus. The only time I do not experience extreme ringing in both ears is when I can listen to various music selections and give myself a respite from the noise. I joined several different subscription sites that have become popular, but none of them were worth the money to me. Either they were far too expensive or had sparse content. I had to try to figure out something better.
We have collected tracks from producers all over the world in dozens of different styles to suit any taste in music. There are guided meditations from some of the best gurus, shamans, and yogis on the planet. I am collecting Christian praise music, healing binaural beats, and adding them all the time.
For those of us who love reading and being read to, I am adding books and audiobooks from some of the classic authors, some with healing background music included. Together with my beautiful wife Traci, our team has amassed this amazing collection of calming, peaceful music and interesting literature, and we offer it to you at a very modest subscription price.

All Nation Church Of God By Faith EPC
The Church of God by Faith, began in 1947 by Mother Idella Jones in her home, where she also operated the Charity Nursing Home. In the beginning, she used her front room for a special “room of prayer.” The Lord then gave her a vision of a church building, where souls would come in and be saved.
While she managed to continue to operate the nursing home, she and her sister, Mother Francis Holmes, by faith, started to bring her vision to reality by putting up a tent across the street where Souls could come to be saved. Ethel Walters, Beatrice Davis (now Elders) and Johnnie Lee Williams Granddaughter (now Pastor) joined her.
The Church was built in 1948 on that site. The Lord has added as he has seen fit. Many souls were saved and many different Ministries grew from this Church.

Since the age of 8 I always knew I had a calling on my life. I remember preaching on the front porch of my Big Ma’s house in Alabama at the age of 8. My preaching ministry began in the late 1990s when I accepted my call to the gospel and was licensed as a gospel preacher. I was born and raised in the ministry, under the leadership of my spiritual father, the Rev. Dr. Henry Cooper (New Way Christian Community Church.) I was a member of NWCCC for over 20yrs. During my time at NWCCC I was a Junior Deacon, choir member, and served as a youth ministry for a few years. In 2016 I was ordained as an Elder under the leadership of Keenann R. Knox, Impact Church where I served on the worship team and as the Youth Pastor for several years. I received my Master of Arts in Christian Studies with an Emphasis in Youth Ministry during my time serving as a Youth Pastor. In 2020 I was appointed and ordained as the Associate Pastor of Beth Eden Missionary Baptist Church, where I serve alongside my pastor, the Rev. Isaiah Pettway. Serving in ministry for over 20yrs, ministry is my passion. I’m driven by the ability to be able to serve.
Another ministry I am most proud of is that of being a father. I have 3 beautiful children who the lord has blessed and entrusted me with. When I’m not in the pulpit I serve in another ministry in that is, the ministry of education. Since receiving my Bachelor of Science in Technology from Bowling Green State University I have worked in education for over 15yrs.
All that I am and all that I do is to the glory of God. I truly belief only what you do for Christ will last.

LaVan Robinson, born as Larry LaVan Richardson, Jr, took his pen name from his middle name and his mother Mary's maiden name. He writes in her honor. As well, he has a beloved son, Audy. When I started Building Bridges Ministries in 2016, I felt a sense of urgency during my time in prayer. I could feel the Holy Spirit moving the Church, the Body of Christ to come together in Unity. Jesus prayed for unity in the church before going to the cross to die for the sins of the world. Before His suffering, we were on His mind and heart. This is important. The gospel of Jesus Christ is for all, and our Oneness is a witness to the world that Jesus Christ came in the flesh! “That they may be one, as You Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they all may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You have sent Me. “John 17:21.
The events of 2020 confirm the fact that we The Church, no longer have the option of only operating in camps. Fact is, we need each other! And Jesus is looking for a glorious Bride from every tongue, tribe, nation and tongue. This is the beauty of the Bride!

BIOGRAPHY FOR PASTOR GLOYD CURD
Called to the ministry at a young age Pastor Gloyd Curd never realized how intense the preparation to propagate the gospel of the kingdom of God would actually be. He would later find out during his introduction to the five-fold dispensation, the anointing of the full gospel of Jesus Christ cannot be manufactured. This honor, glory and mandate accompanies a huge cost and sometimes seemly unbearable sacrifice.
Gloyd learned during his development as a minister at Kingdom Workers Ministry under the leadership of Overseer Charlie Faye McCowin. The price of Kingdom greatness is your entire existence, (Your life) in 2004 Pastor Gloyd came to a fork in the road in his relationship with God when he was commissioned to come off his job as a restaurant manager (Applebee’s) for 10 years and allowed God to be his total source dependence and Shepard. This was the beginning process of a wilderness experience that declared “The Just Shall Live by Faith”.

Elder Anna Blufordwas born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, where she currently resides. She was widowed after 26 years, a mother and grandmother to a dynamic family. She was educated at Mumford High School, and the University of Phoenix, where she studied a Business-oriented curriculum. After she received Christ, her focus was directed towards the community. She has been gifted with a heart that believes that “we are blessed, to be a blessing.” Therefore, we must reach out to meet the needs of others. Elder Anna is an established member of Impact Church, of Detroit, Michigan, lead by Pastor Keenann R. In his youth his training was evidenced by his servant attitude and responsible spirit. Pastor Sandy Ray D.D. lived next door and frequently entrusted young visiting youth to his care while their parents met during the 1960’s.
He married Lue D. House on April 22,1983 at Pilgrim Travelers MBC, Detroit Michigan, Pastor Charlie Knighten. They have 3 children, 14 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren (2017).
During his time at Pilgrim Travelers Missionary Baptist Church, he received a call to the preaching ministry. In 1984 he was licensed and entered training by Pastor Knighten, The Purchase of a new home relocated the family a considerable distance from the church. With prayer and counseling our memberships were moved by letter to Elyton MBC, Detroit, Michigan Pastor John D. Kelly. Pastor Williams became involved in youth ministry and wrote and taught a module on The Articles of Faith for two years in the Michigan District Of BM&E State Convention. He also pursued certification in the COPP School of the Sunday School Publishing Board, NBC Inc. and currently holds the Phase 1 certification. Pastor Williams was called to mission work in Educational support to The Bahamas for nine years with The Late Dr. Grace Cobb. (Christian United Friends Abroad). Rodney Page
Composer, recording artist, conductor, and performer Rodney Lamar Page has a unique, energetic style that ranges from classical music to pop music. For more than 20 years Mr. Page has touched countless audiences with his passion and artistic drive for music.
Southfield, Michigan-native Page began studying violin at age 10. Upon high school graduation he was awarded a music scholarship to Michigan State University where he subsequently earned both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in music education. Throughout his secondary school and collegiate career, Rodney also studied piano, developing into an accomplished pianist.
As a violinist, Mr. Page has performed in the Midland Symphony Orchestra (7 years), Michigan State University Symphony Orchestra (4 years), Livingston Symphony Orchestra (1 year) and as a 2nd violinist in the South Shore Symphony Orchestra in China.
A passionate teacher who inspires students to appreciate all forms of music, Page has been involved in music education for over 20 years. In addition to the orchestras he directed in the St. Johns and East Lansing (Michigan) public school systems, Rodney engaged teenage musicians at the Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp in Michigan as the Symphony Orchestra conductor and violin instructor over 4 summers. During his college career he founded and directed a summer string camp for middle and high school students in Southfield. Rodney cultivates talent in aspiring musicians and believes the future of music is impacted by the musical experiences children have in school. As a national conductor and clinician, Mr. Page has guest conducted student orchestras throughout the United States.
Rodney’s skill and accomplishments in the classroom were acknowledged in 2006 when he was designated District V Orchestra Teacher of the Year by the Michigan Band and Orchestra Association (MSBOA). His reputation as an educator—not just a music educator—was recognized in 2002 when he was named a Fulbright Memorial Fund recipient. He used his award to travel to Japan to study the country’s educational system and culture. In the summer of 2013 Mr. Page was selected as a conducting fellow at the Juilliard School of Music in New York City.
In 2019, Rodney was selected as a guest lecturer at Adnan Menderes University in Turkey and gave master classes to the students there as well as performed. A firm believer in acceptance of all cultures, Mr. Page talked about how to maintain a successful career in music throughout the world. Rodney made his national television debut on Showtime at the Apollo in 2002. His performance, a unique mix of hip-hop, jazz, and classical music, had the crowd on its feet with a selection he wrote specifically for the show.
Page has since turned his attention to providing entertainment services as a freelance musician and DJ presenting unique, innovative shows. Mr. Page was the official performing DJ for the Detroit Pistons and has performed as a violinist during halftime shows for the New Orleans Pelicans. Mr. Page also is a motivational speaker speaking at prisons, public schools, juvenile detention homes, as well as national conferences. Rodney infuses music during his motivational message to encourage and uplift his audiences.
In 2016 Mr. Page released his first EP entitled “Inevitable”. The album features music composed by Mr. Page and features Mr. Page’s brother, saxophonist Reggie Page. The song Danzan from Mr. Page’s EP was arranged for full orchestra and performed by the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. “Dream Orchestra” in January of 2018 as a part of Lansing’s MLK Day Celebration Luncheon. Rodney is married to Kimberly and they have two children named Jayden and Bryson. Mr. Page and his family are devoted members of Restoration Family Life Church in Lansing, Michigan.

Since the age of 8 I always knew I had a calling on my life. I remember preaching on the front porch of my Big Ma’s house in Alabama at the age of 8. My preaching ministry began in the late 1990s when I accepted my call to the gospel and was licensed as a gospel preacher. I was born and raised in the ministry, under the leadership of my spiritual father, the Rev. Dr. Henry Cooper (New Way Christian Community Church.) I was a member of NWCCC for over 20yrs. During my time at NWCCC I was a Junior Deacon, choir member, and served as a youth ministry for a few years. In 2016 I was ordained as an Elder under the leadership of Keenann R. Knox, Impact Church where I served on the worship team and as the Youth Pastor for several years. I received my Master of Arts in Christian Studies with an Emphasis in Youth Ministry during my time serving as a Youth Pastor. In 2020 I was appointed and ordained as the Associate Pastor of Beth Eden Missionary Baptist Church, where I serve alongside my pastor, the Rev. Isaiah Pettway. Serving in ministry for over 20yrs, ministry is my passion. I’m driven by the ability to be able to serve.
Another ministry I am most proud of is that of being a father. I have 3 beautiful children who the lord has blessed and entrusted me with. When I’m not in the pulpit I serve in another ministry in that is, the ministry of education. Since receiving my Bachelor of Science in Technology from Bowling Green State University I have worked in education for over 15yrs.
All that I am and all that I do is to the glory of God. I truly belief only what you do for Christ will last.

Pastor Antonio Allen is a native Detroiter mainly from the southeast side of Detroit. Antonio was ordained as a minister of the gospel in July of 1999 in Springfield, Virginia by the late Archbishop H.M. Harris.
Antonio has competed in poetry contests, published a book entitled Enter Me Vol. II, and has been featured on several poetry venues.
Antonio is married to Angela Allen who he first met in high school. Together they founded A.I.M. which is the acronym for Allen Impact Ministries. This ministry currently takes place every Saturday morning on Facebook live page for Allen Impact Ministries Group page.

Chantal’ Ashantè Hill began as a gymnast at 6 years old but began her formal ballet training at the “late” age of 18. A path that God purposefully called her to hone. With the grit & grace of God, she persevered towards her purpose which she now calls “Spiritual Ballerina.” Chantal’ was called by God to study ballet, with an assignment to spread the gospel through the gift of dance in & outside the church. She has trained on full scholarship with Dance Theatre of Harlem, Joel Hall Dancers & Center, and Danspiration Center Inc. She has performed with Joel Hall Dancers, Judah International Dance Theatre, Dance Ministry Institute, Elements Contemporary Ballet, Hiplet Ballerinas, Centre du Danse Marais of Paris, France, Dance Theatre of Harlem- Nutcracker, Columbia College Chicago, and Dance Ministries Instruments of Praise, God’s Anointed In Motion, Dance Ministry Institute, and Yielded Vessels Dance Ministry. Racheal Frazier is the owner and director of Yet Praise Dance Company, an outreach ministry birthed from Smoking for Jesus Ministry. Racheal is married to her husband, Charles Frazier, of 21 years and they have six children. Together they fellowship at Smoking for Jesus Ministry, which is pastored by Elder Willie Monnet Sr.- Pastor. They have been members there for 21 years. There she formally served in dance and as a leader in dance ministry for 19 years. She is currently a member of the intercessory prayer group at Smoking for Jesus Ministry.
Seven years ago, Racheal, by the leading of the Holy Spirit, opened Yet Praise Dance Company. This isn't your everyday studio. The studio focuses on offering salvation to the company members and their families all while teaching them praise dance. We gladly accept the least of the community and give them hope through dance.

In 2018, she began to offer dance ministry consultations and conference calls, training for ministry of the arts leaders in lecture courses, workshops, conferences and hosts live internet webinars . Through these avenues she allows God to use her to encourage people to grow in their gift of praise dance and to become better leaders.
In February of 2020, Racheal, opened "School of Worship." The school is an online program to train worshipers in the word of God and dance technique. Over 100 students have come through this program. She has ministered to students all around the world.
In May of 2020, she began offering online classes for girls ages 5-17 in her newest endeavor, "Strictly Dance." Racheal's goal is to train the next generation to worship in Spirit and in Truth!

Deacon Charles Edwards Peterson Sr-Poet
Charles Edward Peterson, Sr., was born May 9, 1950 to Rosie Lee and Willie Edward Lee Moses Malachi Peterson in Benton Harbor, Michigan. Being the fourth child of seven children, he vividly recalls using his writing as a vehicle to escape into his own world. He wrote poems and short stories in his younger years to express his thoughts, goals, and dreams. And his blue trunk in which he made in his wood shop class, as a freshman in 1964, was the holding place for his creative work and comic books.
After high school, he married his high school sweetheart and fathered three children. After seven years of marriage, Charles was left with three children to raise as a single parent. Anita Shari, Tanisha Charlotte, and Charles Edward, Jr. were his responsibility but with the help from family, friends and the community (THE VILLAGE), he raised three healthy children.
During the early morning hours, Thee Poet wrote extensively and placed his work in his blue trunk. Over the years, his trunk was filled with over one hundred poems and it was at this time he decided to publish his first book The Poet Speaks: Chasing After A Dream in 1993. His first work was dedicated in memory of his beloved daughter, Tanisha Charlotte Peterson, who died minutes after smiling and holding her newborn son, A'mmary, in 1991.
Thee Poet is a civil rights activist, community leader and humanitarian. His community service includes reciting poetry at a correctional facility, Christian youth camps, civic organizations, schools, colleges, and participation in marches for unity awareness and atonement. He is very active in his church as a deacon, Sunday school teacher, and male chorus member, (He is also the Layman's President for the Chain Lake District in Mi.).
He proudly holds the rank of black belt in the martial arts and has many trophies proudly displayed from participating in karate tournaments. Thee Poet enjoys playing chess, bid whist, fishing and he is an avid golfer.
Thee Poet's love of Creative writing through his poetry is a reflection of his passion for the written word. Dr. K. Olivia Packer is the author of Conflicted Heart, contributing author of Women Overcoming through Writing and I AM Mastering Excellence, licensed and ordained minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, a Certified Dream Builder Life Coach and a Certified Color Code Personality Trainer.
