Is Alcohol Becoming the Third Person in Your Relationship? What happens when a glass of wine after work slowly becomes something much bigger? And how do you know when alcohol is no longer just part of your social life, but has become something that's standing between you and your partner?

In this episode, Sara and Anna explore the impact alcohol can have on relationships. From the subtle signs that drinking is changing the dynamic between you, to the loneliness felt by the partner who doesn't drink, this is a compassionate conversation about one of the most difficult topics couples can face.

The Love Desk also introduces the idea of a "sunset clause" in relationships. Could setting a date to fully commit or move on help people avoid years of uncertainty?

Finally, the listener question asks:

"Since my partner and I moved in together, they've stopped seeing friends and pursuing hobbies. Now they rely on me for all of their social interaction. How do I encourage them to build an independent life outside of our relationship?"

As always, Sara and Anna share practical advice, honest reflections and plenty of warmth along the way.

In this episode:• What the "sunset clause" is and whether it could strengthen relationships.
• Why staying in an unhappy relationship often feels easier than leaving.
• When alcohol stops being something you share and starts becoming the third person in your relationship.
• The warning signs that alcohol is affecting your connection.
• Why conversations about drinking are often so difficult to have.
• The difference between compassion and enabling.
• Why you cannot change someone who isn't ready to change.
• How to start difficult conversations with care rather than criticism.
• Why maintaining friendships and hobbies matters after moving in together.
• The difference between dependence and healthy interdependence.
• How supporting your partner's independence can actually strengthen your relationship.

Key takeawayHealthy relationships aren't built on dependence. They're built on two people choosing each other while still allowing one another to grow as individuals. Whether you're navigating difficult conversations about alcohol, commitment or independence, approaching each other with curiosity, compassion and honesty creates the strongest foundation for lasting connection.

What happens when your relationship looks perfectly fine on paper, but something doesn't quite feel right?

In this episode, we chat about the growing trend of the "Luddite boyfriend" and why having less of a social media presence is suddenly being seen as one of the biggest green flags in dating. Is being more present with your partner becoming more attractive than being permanently online?

We also explore a powerful relationship analogy: Is your boat slowly sinking?

Most relationships don't fall apart overnight. More often, it's the tiny leaks that go unnoticed until the damage feels overwhelming. We discuss how to spot those early warning signs and why awareness is one of the greatest gifts you can give your relationship.

Finally, we answer a listener's question that's likely to resonate with many long-term couples:

"Do I miss my partner… or do I just miss being in a relationship?"

It's an honest conversation about comfort, security, fear of change and how to tell the difference between loving the life you've built and truly feeling connected to the person you're sharing it with.

In This Episode• Why "Luddite boyfriends" are becoming the latest dating green flag

• How social media can quietly become the third person in your relationship

• Why relationships rarely end suddenly, and what the early warning signs often look like

• A simple daily exercise to help you notice how your relationship is really feeling

• The hidden cost of tolerating little frustrations for too long

• How to know whether you're staying because of love or because leaving feels too frightening

Quote of the Week"Strong marriages aren't built by avoiding storms. They're built by two people who decide the boat isn't allowed to sink."

Reflection QuestionIf you rated your relationship every day for the next week, what patterns would you notice, and what are you currently tolerating that deserves your attention?

We'd Love to Hear From YouHave you ever caught yourself wondering whether you were holding onto the relationship or the person? Or has social media ever created tension in your relationship?

Send us your thoughts or your relationship questions. We'd love to feature them in a future episode.

This week on Geordie Lass & Doc Sass, we’re chatting dating fatigue, AI partners, phone addiction, and whether technology is quietly getting in the way of the relationships we say matter most.

From the rise of the “dating recession” to doom-scrolling our evenings away, we unpack how modern life is reshaping connection, intimacy, and the way we show up for each other.

Plus, we answer a listener question about what to do when one partner needs more space than the other, and why that dynamic can feel so painful.

Love Desk:

This week we discuss the rise of the dating recession and why fewer young adults are actively dating despite many saying they still want relationships.

We explore:

• Why dating app fatigue may be putting people off romance

• The confidence crisis affecting modern dating

• Whether technology is making connection easier or harder

• Why more people seem to be turning to AI companionship

• Why “putting yourself out there” may matter more than ever

Hot Topic: Does Technology Improve Your Relationship or Hinder It?

Technology should make life easier… but is it actually making us less connected?

We unpack:

• How endless notifications and multiple messaging platforms create communication overload

• Why social media and scrolling can quietly steal presence from your relationship

• The addictive nature of phones and the “autopilot scroll” many of us fall into

• Why being physically present isn’t the same as being emotionally present

• How technology can become a wedge between partners without us noticing

• The challenge of screen time awareness and reclaiming time for your relationship

Challenge for listeners:

Check your weekly screen time report and ask yourself, if I put just some of that time back into my relationship, what would change?

Listener Question:

“My partner says they need more space than I do. I don’t want to smother them, but it makes me feel rejected. How do we balance this?”

A deeply relatable question, and one many couples quietly struggle with.

We discuss:

• Why needing different amounts of space is common in relationships

• How attachment styles can influence this dynamic

• Why your partner needing space does not automatically mean rejection

• The stories we tell ourselves when someone asks for distance

• How insecurity and fear of abandonment can shape our reactions

• Why understanding your own triggers matters before addressing the issue together

• How to explore what “healthy space” looks like for each partner

• When compromise is possible, and when deeper incompatibility may be present

Final Thoughts

Relationships in 2026 come with challenges previous generations never had to navigate.

From dating apps to AI partners to social media addiction, technology is changing how we connect, communicate, and show up for one another.

But the heart of the conversation remains the same:

Connection requires presence.

And presence is something we have to choose, intentionally.

Sara and Anna are back with another episode of Geordie Lass & Doc Sass, bringing their usual mix of humour, honesty and real talk about relationships.

The conversation begins with the collective relief of making it through January, reflections on Dry January discipline (or flexible discipline), and the feeling that the light is finally returning after the long winter months. But quickly the conversation turns to something many couples quietly experience but rarely name.

This week’s Love Desk introduces the concept of relationship burnout, and it sparks a deeper conversation about the pressure modern life places on connection, communication and emotional energy.

Later in the episode, Sara and Anna explore a thought-provoking question: if your relationship had a warning label, what would it say? It’s a surprisingly powerful way to reflect on the patterns we bring into relationships and how those patterns shape the way we communicate, argue, and reconnect.

The episode closes with a listener question that many people will recognise — what to do when your partner says “that’s just how I am” when something they do hurts you.

Love Desk: Relationship Burnout — when life gets too full for connection

Sara introduces a rising trend being discussed more frequently in relationship circles: relationship burnout.

Much like workplace burnout, it happens slowly and often without us realising it.

They explore how:

• modern life creates constant pressure from work, family and responsibilities

• the mental load leaves very little emotional capacity for relationships

• couples can slowly drift into “transactional living” rather than real connection

• busyness becomes a badge of honour, even when it erodes wellbeing

• partners can end up sharing space but not emotional closeness

• guilt and emotional exhaustion can be early signs of burnout

They also discuss how many couples postpone addressing relationship issues because life feels too busy — only to discover later that the connection has quietly faded.

A key reminder from this conversation: being busy together is not the same as being connected.

Hot Topic: If your relationship had a warning label, what would it say?

In this playful but insightful exercise, Sara and Anna explore the idea of relationship “warning labels”.

It’s a way of looking honestly at the patterns we bring into our relationships without shame or blame.

Possible warning labels might include:

• “Avoids difficult conversations until things explode.”

• “Very loving but terrible under stress.”

• “Defaults to practical solutions when emotions are needed.”

• “Assumes mind-reading instead of asking.”

• “Forgets fun when life gets busy.”

The exercise encourages listeners to step back and reflect on their own patterns and the dynamics they co-create with their partner.

Sara and Anna also explore how many relationship behaviours come from childhood experiences and family norms. What feels “normal” to one partner may feel overwhelming or unhealthy to the other.

The key insight: awareness creates the opportunity for change.

Listener Question: “My partner says ‘that’s just how I am’ when I raise something that hurts me.”

This week’s listener asks a question that highlights a very common relationship dilemma.

How do you address behaviour that hurts you when your partner insists it’s simply part of their personality?

Sara and Anna unpack:

• why this situation often appears in anxious–avoidant relationship dynamics

• the fear that can sit underneath emotional avoidance

• how defensive responses can shut conversations down quickly

• why “you always” and “you never” statements often make conflict worse

• how changing the way we ask questions can open safer conversations

• why curiosity often works better than accusation

They also highlight an important truth: it often only takes one partner to begin shifting the dynamic of communication.

Small changes in how conversations are approached can create surprisingly powerful changes in how partners respond.

Reflection from this episode

• Busyness can slowly erode connection if we’re not paying attention

• Many relationship patterns come from family experiences we’ve never questioned

• Awareness is the first step toward changing unhealthy dynamics

• The way we communicate matters as much as what we communicate

• Even one partner making small changes can influence the whole relationship dynamic

There is always a way to take one small step back towards connection, even if you start on your own.

Welcome back to the podcast! Anna & Sara are feeling the summer heat (literally!) as they chat about the bittersweet slide into August. There’s a reflection on presence, ageing, and why Pilates torture can teach us about intentional living.

Love Desk:We explore three hidden forces that can quietly trash a couple’s sex life:

  • The overload no one talks about – how invisible stress and daily mental loads kill desire
  • The mother-partner identity blur – when caregiving roles seep into romance
  • Old generation scripts that won’t die – outdated gender norms that still shape our expectations

With a dose of humour (yes, even about towel folding and dishwashing), we remind listeners why being intentional matters more than lacy underwear or quick fixes.

Hot Topic: Finding more time in your relationship

  • Why “time starvation” fuels disconnection and frustration
  • Creative ways to buy or swap time so you can reconnect
  • The difference between transactional time and quality presence
  • Why even folding laundry together can count (if you can resist critiquing how your partner folds the towels!)

Listener Question:"My partner says they love me, but they never initiate affection anymore. Am I expecting too much, or does this mean something deeper?"We dive into what affection really means, why it fades, and how to bring it back with intentional gestures that create reciprocity, not resentment.

This week is all about intentionality. Whether it’s making time, showing affection, or choosing how you want to show up in your relationship, small, deliberate acts build trust and connection over time.

Sara is still feeling comfy and cosy in warm winter sweaters. Anna's, for some reason, is chatting about baby wipes. She always brings an element of surprise.

Love Desk: Science suggests that sleeping with your partner improves your sleep. Gain intriguing insights derived from scientific studies about sleeping better together or apart. What's your verdict?

Tune in to learn more about co-sleeping and Anna's Excel spreadsheet.

Hot Topic: Have you chosen your hard in your relationship?

Exploring what choosing your hard means, as two coaches of couples and individuals in relationships, Anna and Sara discuss what this means for your relationship. It's hard to leave, but it's also hard to stay. Which side is going to be the hardest?

Questions: Since I've moved in with my partner, I've started to see a different side to him. He's always in a bad mood around the house because of his financial situation, and there isn't much romance left. I feel like we rushed things. It was a panic because of the money situation. Should I break up with him?

This is an excellent follow-up to the hot topic. Couples will inevitably relax after they move in together, which can cause a loss of closeness, connection, and intimacy. On top of this, financial pressure will only magnify this. Moving out of this situation can feel black and white; you're either in or out. There is more to this; further exploration is needed to work through this and make a conscious decision. It's time to lean into the challenge.

It always ends on a food note, and this week, Sara is making Pad Thai in the @Thermomix. Perhaps they should switch to a food podcast instead.

In a rare occurrence on the Podcast, the girls deviate from their usual show format. In this eye-opening episode, they delve into the concept of a 'Relationship Reset'—an open and honest conversation about overcoming relationship challenges and embracing growth and change for a better relationship dynamic. From understanding personal roles in a relationship to breaking negative patterns that may sabotage your connection, this episode sheds light on how to approach relationship issues effectively and proactively.

They dive deep into the everyday challenges couples often face, such as conflict, communication issues, intimacy, and their impact on your relationship. They discuss the importance of shifting from a negative to a positive bias in relationships, focusing on strengths and potential for growth. Self-sabotaging tendencies often arise from deep-inset fears and insecurities; learn how a relationship reset can counteract these detrimental behaviours and foster healthier connections.

Further into the episode, the discussion leads to the importance of self-awareness and continuous personal growth within relationships. Noticing the patterns in your behaviour, changing the dynamics of an argument and making small but significant steps can lead to a lasting relationship. Their conversation also includes a detailed look into 'Relationship Reset', a 12-week course designed to help couples navigate the rough patches of their relationship through constant learning and adaptation.

The Relationship Reset is a 12-week course, delivered in weekly bitesize modules so as not to be overwhelming. You can take this on your own or with your partner. It takes you through why you face the everyday challenges in your relationship, and you can learn about your attachment style and your partners. You can understand how to get more kindness and compassion in your relationship and build on your strengths. Move beyond hopelessness in your relationship, start taking action in a small, achievable way and make a difference in your relationship.

Finally, they address taking responsibility for personal actions rather than shifting blame onto partners. As they wrap up, they provide comforting assurance that it is never too late to work on your relationship, reinstating the significance of open communication, understanding and breaking the cycle of destructive patterns.

Listen in and unearth the tools needed to breathe new life into your relationship and awaken the possibilities of lasting love!

Welcome to the Podcast!!

The girls keep things real in this episode, Anna is sharing a very real experience, about money, relationships and being triggered by all. Spring is on the horizon and Sara is feeling loved up so she's banking on this for when the reserves are a little lower.

Love Desk: Sharing new concepts you may have not heard of before, today this is 'weaponized responsibility'. This could be a hot topic in its way as the girls delve deep into the ramifications of miscommunication and misaligned priorities leading to potential challenges and breakdowns, particularly within household responsibilities. Does anyone resonate with the road trip playlist scenarios?

Hot Topic: Celebrating the differences between us

A great hot topic that follows on from the love desk. From exploring deeply embedded belief systems and values to the simple way we handle tasks and day-to-day requirements. The differences between us can lead to some seismic gaps between us.

There is often a baseline level of compatibility, but this doesn't override the fact that there are differences between us, as demonstrated by the Gottman Institute research 60 to 70% of things between you will never be resolved.

If you can work on the principle there is no right or wrong, only difference, it's all to be celebrated.

Question: "My partner and I have been fighting for well over two years, we have one child together and I have three stepchildren, we've been married for 6 years and more recently it feels like it's us against them. I'm tired of all the arguing, help!"

A question that creates more questions for our Relationship Coaches, they are curious about how this started, when it started and what may have triggered the disharmony. What are the dynamics in this relationship that are triggering a negative in this relationship? The cycle can be difficult to identify and break. This listener sounds like they feel isolated in this relationship which is a red flag. You should also feel safe in your own home.

Often the blended family is the assumed source of disharmony but this might not be the case. You have no idea if you would come up against the same challenges had you stayed in your prior relationship with the maternal parent.

The girls finish this relationship workout on a high.

Anna's back in town and her feline friend couldn't be happier. Meanwhile, Sara's feeling a little vocally neglected, so it's time to fix that as she starts the discussion about the fascinating (and often confusing) differences between US and UK healthcare for new parents. Yep, this is still a relationship podcast, families matter!

Love Desk: Sara dives into a quote, but Anna's got a raised eyebrow. Can Sara convince her love guru pal to see things differently? Tune in to see if Anna changes her tune!

Hot Topic: Core Pillars of Love

Anna's got her 3 C's and commitment, but choosing the most important one is proving tricky. Plus, new ideas are brewing! Can the girls establish a set of essential "core pillars" for love? Join the debate as they delve deeper.

Anna unveils a surprising new love interest: a spreadsheet! Yes, you read that right. Is love truly conquerable by Excel? Find out how Anna is incorporating this unconventional tool into her relationship.

Question: "My partner is going through a tough time, and I want to support them. They are very independent and it can be hard to know what to do, at times it's like I don't exist but I want to do the best I can."

A listener seeks advice on supporting their independent partner during a tough time. Striking the right balance between interdependence and respect can be tricky. The girls offer a fresh perspective on this relatable issue.

Today's podcast takes a detour (or two!), this time it isn't Anna leading the charge. But hey, isn't that part of the fun? Join the ride and see where the conversation takes you!

Sara is feeling uber chilled today, with cool vibes around here and she no longer smells like an old people's home. Sara's back on dry January and the girls are embracing 2024.

Sara is excited today, and the girls are springing into 2024!

Anna's echoing from her empty apartment, she's excited to be there, feeling chilly but she's warm on the inside. Sara's recovering from illness with some Xmas shopping and prep for the festive period.

Love Desk: Christmas-related story, some sadness but evidence that humankind and generosity are around us.

Hot Topic: What would you change about a modern relationship?

Words of wisdom from Anna, choose your own adventure, in a modern relationship you have this in your gift.

The overriding message is to co-create your relationship, it's your path and you get to design a relationship that works for you. Sometimes this level of choice may feel overwhelming, when this arises it's time to get intentional.

Question: "I want to stay with my partner forever, how can I make this happen?"

The girls can't tell if they feel better or worse at the end of this podcast, but that's the rhythm of relationships and life. There were still a few mic drop moments in here which hopefully make you think a little and get more intentional.

Anna forgets that moving countries is not an easy affair. Just like having babies and other life-changing events, she has forgotten about past experiences. The girls had a sliding doors moment both 'Lasses' were almost in Budapest at the same time.

One day they will be in the same place, at the same time and record an in-person podcast.

Love Desk: Tinder now allows friends and families to recommend matches for you ... is this a step too far? Time will tell, the girls have some reservations.

Hot Topic: Keeping sex alive in a long-term relationship.

Anna's trying to switch to a different hot topic but Sara is keeping her honest and on track (not an easy job ...)

The shift from sex to no sex is like a train that speeds past the station without realising it has happened. In long-term relationships, it's a hot topic indeed, as we get distracted by life and often move out of the habit of regular sex which is difficult to reverse and even trickier to discuss with our significant others.

Question: "My girlfriend and I have different values and beliefs. Is it possible to still have a good relationship without compromising who we are and giving up on our values?"

Yes, maybe, maybe not ..... values are difficult to gauge when considering the future impact. Some values may feel like a non-negotiable, for example, the decision to have children, but others may move and shift over time. You might start to see your partner's perspective more and your values may become more aligned over time.

Great chat as ever, Sara's feeling calm and confident about her trip to Budapest. She's element ready with a new winter coat and Anna's giving her top tips on the local spirits. Let's hope she makes it back for the next recording.

Anna's started paddling in Athens, so far she's not attracted the emergency or law enforcement officers but she had had men offering to carry her board. We are saying nothing! Sara's been enjoying pick and mix at the cinema and her love affair with food.

Love Desk: It's a food-related love desk .... tune in to find out what and why.

Hot Topic: How does spitefulness show up in your relationship?

Ouch, are you ready for this? There are more ways than you think to be spiteful in your relationship, they might not be obvious to start with but listen further to see if you are being unconsciously spiteful.

Question: "My partner and I seem to disagree on everything lately. How can we work through conflicts and disagreements in a healthy way, and prevent them from causing bigger problems down the road?"

The thing you think you're arguing about is never the thing. It's harder often to get below the daily arguments and bickering to uncover what's happening.

Raising even more awareness this week, lots to explore and work on for all of us.

Hot Topic: How would guaranteed success in your relationship impact what you do?

Would this have a positive or negative impact on your relationship? Would it ease the doubt or would you slack off and not put the effort in you need to?

Question: "I've been feeling really insecure in my relationship lately. How can I identify and address my own insecurities, and what can I do to improve my relationship as a result?"

Hot Topic: Common causes of low confidence in relationships

Confidence can show up in many ways. It may be your different levels of confidence or the confidence you feel in the future of your relationship together. Tough love won't cut it here. It's to start caring about your relationship and your partner.

Question: "I've been with my partner for a while now, but I'm starting to feel like the spark is gone. What should I do if I feel like I'm losing interest in my partner, and how can I reignite that passion in our relationship?"

So common, that your relationship will not sustain the highs of the honeymoon. It simply isn't possible. It's time to put some new goggles on are see your partner in a new light. We are overstimulated in society and this is causing us all to become disconnected, from ourselves and our partners. It is possible to take steps to start to lean back into your love again.

Good conversation from the girls today. Sara's dumbfounded that they still haven't met, and that Anna is now in a hairs whisper from Sara. That in-person pod recording is closer than you think!

Some tough talking from the girls this week in answer to the listener's questions. It's not easy!

The clocks are changing in Canada and Anna trying to find out how she can escape to a warmer climate. It's not long till Sara flies off for Tapas & Vino. Just stay away from the sausage!

Love Desk

Shares a beautiful, thought-provoking quote this week. Tune in to listen.

Hot Topic

Stop eating in restaurants you don't like.

Anna got sexy thoughts right out of the gate. What does this topic have to do with relationships? Let's listen and find out what the girls discuss.

Question of the week

"I've got a dilemma a friend (who's a girl) has started chatting to a guy I know, I've known him a long time, but we see each other less often now, he's a bit of a knob, do I say anything to the girl?"

Would you step in and share your views? Or would you ignore the whole thing and stay the hell out of it?

The girls are on a mission to speed record as the clocks have changed. It's Halloween and Sara's booked a cheeky trip to Seville!

Love Desk - Spicy number this week, sexual meditation. Anna's listening ....

Hot Topic - Freshen up your relationship

Sara shocks Anna during this week's hot topic, take a listen and find out why.

Anna shares a recommended book called wintering, learning how you can work with the seasons.

Questions - "My partner broke up with me because he wanted to sleep around, we had a great relationship and great sex I just don't get it. How do I get over this?"

Sara's sharing their success as the girls reach over 5,000 downloads and an increase in Irish listeners! Welcome to the podcast. It might have been a speedy one but still packed a punch.

Monday's recording came around too quickly and the girls aren't quite ready for today's recording, let's hope they can pull it out of the bag! It's October, Anna is still paddling in more ways than one. Sara is welcoming winter as she switches to winter food and lays down some fat!

Love Desk - It's research time ..... "the reason we stay in unhappy & unhappy relationships"

The reason why has shocked the love coaches as the research findings aren't what they expected.

Hot Topic - When to seek help in your relationship?

Always, never, at the start! All of the above. Should we take a lesson from the younger generation who seem to be more open to talking about their issues? Fear and shame often get in the way when it comes to seeking help. There is no shame in talking to others, but, choose your audience carefully! When seeking help you are always in choice and in control of when you start, stop and how support is going. The average person waits 6 years, it's heartbreaking, don't be that person.

Question of the week - "I really want a baby, my partner agrees but keeps moving the timescales saying they aren't ready. I can't believe they are being so selfish when they know how much this means to me."

This feels like Sara's private thearpy session, but back to the question! It is time to work through those fears and understand what's really happening.

As we approach Halloween, the girls are feeling the winder blues apporaching. There is no hope unless they slip into boozy hour recording!

Or do we need Sara to really poorly to get some good quality recoding from the girsl?

The planets are sending a lot of changes the girl's way. Just when they think they have their shit together, the universe has other plans! Anna's shining bright as she steps a toe back into clinical practice.

Sara was off to the UK at the last moment to ship her daughter back to uni. Time is flying by as she heads back for her second year.

Mourning has officially ended as the UK lays their queen to rest. By Queenie, you've served us well.

Love Desk - Couple married for 30 years, 7 kids, no arguments and no raised voices ...... say what!!! I need to know more ......

Hot Topic - Don't take your partner's oxygen away.

There's some illogical logic in the hot topic this week. Wise words are shared about how to unpick this for yourself in your relationship. Hands up if you recognise any of the behaviour highlighted by the girls.

Sara delivers a big blow with a killer question to ask yourself this week. They are spicy and leave us contemplating and reflecting.

Question of the week - "I'm estranged from my sibling, I feel deep shame. Should I try to speak to them again?"

1 in 3 people are in this situation. Family dynamics have a strong pull and easily slip into the same family roles. It's a complicated business. So many people feel shame when they are detached from their family, it triggers feelings of self-judgement and negative self-talk.

If you feel like you blinked and missed September, you are not alone!

Labour day is over, schools are back and the routine begins. Sara has said news as the Queen has passed away. The country is in a state of mourning.

She worked right up to the end and was a great head of the country. Changes are ahead as the new King is sworn in. It's sad to see the end of her reign.

Love Desk - Sharing a beautiful quote from the Queen, will touch your heart.

Hot Topic - Is there room for mistakes in your relationship?

Do you give your partner some leeway or are they expected to be perfect? This feels uber-heavy to have to be perfect! So many relationships have high expectations of their partner. There's a flashback to confession time, how much time would you spend in your relationship confession box ........ not sure I want to think about this!

Can you show grace to your partner, do you judge? How could you be free from this?

Question of the week - "I feel lost and alone, my husband just doesn't understand. He asks me what's wrong and then dismisses my answer. I'm no longer attracted to him because he dismisses me. He's a good dad and a hard-working man but we need help. He's refusing to go to therapy. I'm stuck!!"

Both parties are feeling down in this situation, their needs aren't being met and they are struggling to communicate and share how they are feeling. Who hasn't been in this situation?

There are some great tips on how to explore needs in your relationship. Get ready to take notes! It's common to feel disconnected and not on the same page as your partner.

There's a vibe of change in the air! This is no different for our coaches as they enter into new chapters, more will be shared later!

A short question but it's got some depth. It's never about the thing! There are some layers to move through and is it time to open up with honesty. Anna gets feisty with this, she needs Sara to talk her down from the ledge.

Action-packed recording, the planes are out, there are deliveries, dark clouds, and sirens all set to sabotage the recording but the girls pull it off.

2nd Anniversary!!!!

The girls are feeling a mixture of nerves, excitement and sickness all at the same time. It's been 2 years the girls have lasted more than most relationships do.

They've been through a lot! Emotional times, at least three waves of the pandemic, war breaking out, inflation, the cost of living rising, personal tragedy and relationship issues of their own.

Not to mention Anna's been in several countries, states and continents even choosing to record in some of them!

They have survived, entertained and have a much deeper knowledge of each other, as do we! There have been some great stories shared.

To mark their second anniversary they are recording a special edition. There is no news, hot topic or question. What are you doing to us!!!!!

Instead, all we have is a death match!

The topic of the coach death match is ……….

What is the issue of intimacy or sex?

The girls are slugging out, they have differing views about this particular topic. It's been brewing and they are ready with the gloves off!

Sara is ready in the offing straight out of her corner fighting hard!

Take a listen and see which side you land on! If you can choose one.

It's been a blast! Here's to the next two years 👏

Is this a Gen Z listener by chance ....... oh you can feel the devastation for this listener. Is this really the first time they've heard this? Was alcohol involved?

Is it time to take time out and reflect on our relationship? There is a school of thought that we should all be taking a deep dive into our relationship in the good times before crisis hits. Proactive prep in your relationship for when the storms hit.

Anna is continuing her travel with a stop off before she heads homes. Onwards to the next adventure. Sara's on her boundary soap box again!
