CSRfm - Canterbury's local Community & Student Radio Station

CSRfm is Canterbury's multi-award-winning local Community & Student Radio Station, broadcasting 24/7 online worldwide via http://csrfm.com, and on 97.4fm to the local Canterbury area.

Founded in 2007, CSRfm was born through the merger of UKCR (University of Kent Student Radio) and C4 Radio (then Canterbury Christ Church College Radio, now University).

The station is completely volunteer-run, and is governed by Canterbury Youth & Student Media Ltd, the holding company that was created to formalise the four-way partnership between the station's founding partners; Canterbury Christ Church University, Christ Church Students' Union, the University of Kent, and Kent Union.

Despite being predominantly student-led, the station holds a Community FM licence and welcomes members of the community to join and take part in the project.
