Dear Irish People... is a podcast that delves into everything Irish. It focus on my life as a black Irish teenager and child growing up in Ireland. This podcast is full of laughter, realness and experience. This podcast is unique as we hear normal, everyday peoples experiences too.
Episode fifteen focuses on school restarting and the stress of moving to college and being independent. I also discuss fashion and friends.
Episode fourteen focuses on music and the music industry in Ireland. This episode features Owen Alfred, a limerick musician who gives us an insight into his life as a musician. We discuss tips for people hoping to make music and how to cope potential haters.
Episode thirteen focuses on racism in Ireland where you hear about my experiences, Tishé's experiences with feeling invalidated and Lydia's experiences with the increase of Asian hate due to the pandemic. Our main goal is to spread awareness and start more conversations!
Episode twelve focuses on Grainne who shares her stories and tips on authenticity on social media, rollerskating and fashion & sustainability.
Episode eleven focuses on Reece Creed, an Irish influencer who shares stories about his social media career and the positive and negatives that come with it.
Episode ten focuses on strict parents in which I give advice and share stories. We also have Amanda, our guest, who shares her experiences with strict parents.
Episode nine focuses on post Covid travel plans and bucket lists. We have a guest speaker on talking about her experiences travelling from Ireland to a different to work as an au pair.
Episode eight focuses on the beautiful Miss Limerick 2021 aka Amy who talks about her experience with pageantry. Amy shares very inspiring, interesting and motivating stories.
Episode seven focuses on our first ever Irish influencer guests... Conor and Tim. We get an insight into how they started out, who inspires them and advice on how to be confident.
Episode six focuses on mental health in Ireland in which I share my experiences. We also have two guest speakers who give advice and share their experiences. You can find more advice and resources on Blessings instagram (@blezzingdada).
Episode five focuses on dating experiences as a black girl in Ireland and Irish boys. We also have our third guest who shares her experiences dating as a black girl.
Episode four focuses on Britain and the British monarchy. We also have our second guest who tells me I have a questionable British accent.
Episode three focuses on Irish teen discos and my experience with it. We also have our first ever guest speaker.
Episode two is focused on secondary school and my specific experiences with teachers and things I went through.
This is a quick introduction about who I am and what this podcast is about. You will probably notice that I finally found a name for it!
