God is LOVE, even when it feels like He is being unloving due to the circumstances that surround us. He will prune us, challenge us, and draw us deeper in Him. Happiness is circumstantial, but joy is eternal. They are vastly different and sometimes we get them confused. Happiness should not be our goal. Growth and joy should. 2020 was a difficult year for many, and it brought a lot of emotions and challenges. 2021 might be similar, but we can still have joy during the difficult, painful, and even tragic circumstances of life. Hey awesome people!!! I pray that in this strange time that you remember that you are courageous and strong. Remember who is on The Throne. This episode was recorded on a whim, but I feel like I needed to do it! I talk about how you can maximize this time while being quarantined, why it's important to have a Sabbath, how to change your perspective, how to make the most of your time, and a few things you can do and try while we have this time to do so. If we change our perspective, and not look at this at a setback, but look at it as a message from God, we can learn to refocus and heed His warnings. It's okay to rest. Breathe. Having more time allows us to grow and reflect. Use this time to do that and use this time to help others and reach out in this challenging season. A season is just that, it's just a season. Evaluate this newfound blessing of having some additional time. Be thankful that you aren't sick. Let's pray for those that are ill, and let's help others to not get sick. Remember why we are doing this.
