It even causes Michael to consider a drastic action! We finally do our deep dive into Romans Chapter 8, and all we can say is WOW! Was it ever worth the wait!!! “If you’re looking for the ‘original design’ doctrine, there is only one bible on the planet you can read. Don’t be duped! It does not exist in any other bible on the planet”, asserts Michael. Following up on last week’s Roman Road, spot checking chapters 1-7, Michael starts by proposing a new thought regarding Adam and Ezekiel 28. The spotlight then focuses on Romans 8! We examine what it means to walk in the spirit and what it means to walk in the flesh. Paul clearly explains who is in the flesh and who is in the spirit and how Jesus dealt with the flesh. All of these understandings set the stage for the real manifestation of the Sons of God!
Daniel recently sent this text to Michael: “We have to reteach Romans all over again!” This new Powercast is brimming with fun, power, revelation and understanding. It commences with Michael reminiscing about his times attending the Grammy Awards in Los Angeles. Then he reminds us that “your brain runs well on the Gospel”. And that it can lead to recovering from mental illness. “I can’t think of a better example of recovering from mental illness than God himself. It was perhaps the first ‘fatal attraction’. But this one concluded positively. I am so excited that God was crazier than me! God learned what it was like to be human through Christ. Now we’re learning what it is like to be God in Christ!” Eventually, Daniel gets us back on the “Roman Road”. Take a walk with us. We are not traveling on it to become a “believer”. It is a brief but tremendous synopsis of the first seven chapters of the Book of Romans. This road leads us to the unveiling of what the “Manifest Sons of God” really is all about in Romans Chapter 8. The manifestation of Christianity is exposed in this week’s Powercast! Daniel shares some quotes from modern day “fire and brimstone” preachers, Michael shares some stories of the ill effects of Christianity. Sadly, all of this is still plaguing our world today! But this is why we are motivated to share the gospel.
This is the final session reviewing Bill Nugent’s article on the “Manifestation of the Sons of God and the Resurrection of the Dead” — this week focusing on the resurrection of the dead. Bill describes a very sci-fi like event that will happen before the return of Christ with the ultimate “Manifestation of the Sons of God”. So outlandish that Michael and Daniel could hardly read without laughing! But with a swift comparison of Biblical Context Bill’s theory is blown out of the water.
“If you don’t know the Scriptures as defined by Christ, you don’t know the Power of God!” It would be be an understatement to say the guys hit the ground running on this brand new Powercast. Michael opens up talking about the snare of a personal relationship with Jesus, “led” by the “voice” of the Holy Spirit. This always leads to severe and tragic disappointment. “You do not and cannot change your belief or behavior to change who you are in Christ!!” We continue in Bill Nugent’s article regarding the manifestation of the sons of God. Focusing on what Bill calls the “Thrice Hagion” or how to become “more holy”, reminds Daniel of a time he heard a preacher say, “If you just need two or three witnesses, I can easily go to the Scriptures and ‘prove’ we should be nudists”. Michael continues, “God did NOT know you before you were conceived OR did he form you in the womb. Two people had intercourse and out you came! When you think your life was predestined, your life is going to turn to caca!” Get ready to be thrice renewed in your soul (at least)!!!

The comparative work of Michael Lilborn Williams and Daniel Thomas Rouse continue this week as we continue to look at the Manifest Sons of God teaching — taught by Bill Nugent (whose article we are reading and studying) and Don Keathley (Global Grace Seminary). Also, you are no less than anybody else and never will be.” These comments of Michael’s in this brand new Powercast weren’t the only strong and pointed remarks. “DO SOMETHING! You’re breaking peoples’ hearts! DO SOMETHING!” The guys close out this show regarding the Manifestation of the Sons of God movement as told by Bill Nugent in his article “The Manifestation of the Sons of God and the Resurrection of the Dead”. We revisit the Azusa Street Revival, Latter Rain, “healing and miracle” services and other religious weirdness. We hear Michael share about people being “healed” in Norvel Hayes’ services then calling him the next day, screaming in pain — yet still making it into Norvel’s newsletter about the so-called healing! Daniel shares how he prayed and believed for years that God would miraculously heal his lazy eye but it wasn’t until a breakthrough in medical science that Daniel’s eye was fixed in just one hour! They discuss how much hyperbole surrounds this teaching, leaving us guessing as to what signs manifest sons will manifest. Though Bill says this shouldn’t be a movement of elitism, he also declares that only 144,000 will manifest as the Sons of God! He clearly states this status will not be achieved by every “believer”. Daniel joins Michael in the Secret City for the next few Powercasts! This week they begin a diagnosis of an article written by Bill Nugent, “The Manifestation of the Sons of God and the Resurrection of the Dead”. The show commences with Michael welcoming Daniel to Tennessee, recommending the classic law vs grace film “Dead Poet Society” starring Robin Williams. Then our guys get into a bunch of “one verse wonder” doctrines. This renunciation of the “Dead Religion Society” leads to comparing the teachings presented in Bill Nugent’s article to the Scriptures and Michael offering an all-expenses paid trip AND $10,000 to anyone who would come and manifest healing for his sister Gale as you may remember is suffering from Alzheimer’s. The “doctrine” of the Manifest Sons of God teaches personal holiness, miracle working, personal sanctification, and how only a small group of people will manifest as Sons of God.
