Phew! Finally a good review! Blue Mondays is the place to be on Monday nights in Los Angeles according to our comedy correspondents Matt Mentele & Betsy Hayes. Blue Mondays is the name of the nightclub which spins 80's new wave on the inside and rotates genre's on the outside patio, although Betsy had a hard time identifying the differences between the two since both were "The room to be in". In this episode Mentele & The Hayes encountered indie vs. emo night on the patio, mostly emo, and due to the 18+ age limitation, a lot of whining to said emo. Betsy's angsty middle school heart was in heaven. Matt was also there. Being sung at by 18 year old children. Oddly enough both of our heroes had a good time at the dark and mysterious Blue Mondays nightclub. Stay tuned for our next episode where Matt & Betsy switch it up again and visit a rooftop cinema club right in the heart of Hollywood!

But this adventure is not about downtown but a place that lies within, The Resident. Where a dance night they call Green Slime now resides. Not to be confused with the Nickelodeon staple of the same name, Green Slime is a rare niche 60's vinyl dance party previously held at The Short Stop in Echo Park.
