In this inaugural episode, I introduce you to who I am and I share a little bit of my story with you to assist you with knowing a little bit about me and where I came from. I also explain what this show is all about and what led me to decide to create a podcast with the intention to help others see that even with trauma, mental health challenges, and adversity,  healing and hope are possible, while also highlighting how critical it is for a community to acknowledge and respond to its challenges.
